    Features of the
process If you listen to the gardeners, specialists in this field, it turns out - yes, it is quite possible, but it turns out quite rarely. According to amateur gardeners, a rose from a handle can be grown in three cases out of ten. Immediately worth noting is the fact that not all roses from bouquets give in to rooting. For example, such a variety of roses as the Dutch, rooting almost do not succumb, success in this case is almost zero. Therefore, it is best to use domestic roses for such purposes.

It should be noted that the stem of the cut must necessarily have two buds( one on top and one from below). How much roses have already stood in the vase does not matter much, but it is desirable that it is not more than four days. In case you immediately decided to put the bouquet on the cuttings, it will be much better. And in order that the beautiful buds of roses are not lost in vain, they can be put in a transparent vase filled with water and put on a table.

    Method of growing

So, in more detail: the middle part of the stem must be cut into cuttings, which will have a length of 12-15 centimeters, and the presence of two or three kidneys. The lower cut on the stem should be made at an angle equal to 45 degrees and located one centimeter below the kidney. As for the immediate lower cut, it should be straight and only 0.5 centimeters above the kidney, not more. The lower leaf of the cut should be removed, the upper one - shortened to one-third. Spikes should be pruned with a pruning shear, if, of course, there are any.

It is recommended to prune the upper cut of the cuttings with a green or potassium permanganate. Within 12 hours, cuttings should be kept in aloe juice or any growth preparations.

The lower part of the stem must be split with an acute knife( two or three clefts not more than 1.5 centimeter deep), and planted in prepared greens, first dipping into any preparation promoting better rooting of the cuttings.

As for the soil in which the cutting will be planted, it must be rich in humus. If the rose is planted in the suburban area, then it is best to take root in a separate nursery bed.

Cuttings should be planted in prepared soil, before planting the soil surface should be sprinkled with river sand, a layer of not less than three centimeters. It is recommended to plant the shank to a depth of 1.5-2 centimeters.

Planted cuttings should be poured and covered with plastic five-liter bottles, previously cutting off the bottom. Cover the cuttings should be so that the neck of the bottle was pointing upwards. Irrigation is directly done through the neck or around this shelter. The cuttings thus planted should not be opened until next summer, the bottle is removed only if a bud appears.

Young buds break off buds during the first two years. Thanks to this, already for the third year a well developed bush is prepared from the cuttings, ready for flowering.

As for the period of time when flowers were given, it should be noted that the rose donated in winter is the worst suited to rooting, of the March bouquets rooted maximum one, but from the bouquets donated in July, one hundred percent rooting is obtained.

In the event that you do not have a dacha, but the desire to grow and have this beautiful flower at home, then in this case, the cuttings can be rooted in the flowerpot. To do this, you need to buy a special soil for roses. Also, when rooted, it is recommended to light the cuttings through fluorescent lights. The best temperature for rooting is a temperature of 23-25 degrees Celsius.

When growing cuttings in room conditions, a very important stage is their direct spraying. For 2 weeks cuttings should be sprayed 5-7 times a day, the soil should always be moist, but not wet. Do this manipulation is necessary for 2-3 weeks. After that, the amount of spraying can be reduced to 3 times a day, but the substrate in the pot should not dry out. Roses, diluted in this way, are called root-rosary roses. This, in turn, means that if the bush is badly overwintered, it will not die. It will be enough for you to cut off all the dead branches, and he will be saved.

The video will tell more in detail and visually about this process:

    Observations

The power of the aroma of roses is affected by weather conditions, so, with cool and cloudy weather, the aroma of roses is weaker, but in dry and hot - stronger. The sorts of roses that have dark petals also smell stronger. The aroma of roses is also affected by the thickness of the petals, so flowers with thicker petals, smell stronger. Roses that grow on rich and heavy soils have a stronger flavor than roses that grow on light soil that directly passes moisture. It should also be noted that an excessive amount of fertilizer reduces the aroma of roses.

Rose is a fastidious and delicate flower, it requires special care. Therefore, if you decide to grow a rose from a handle, you will have to make a lot of efforts for this. But as they say with a great desire, perhaps a lot. Do not be afraid to take risks, experiment. Of course, never encountering gardening, you may not get it right the first time, but do not give up, in time you will necessarily succeed.
