  • Tempering a child?

    Why temper the body?

    First of all, tempering the body is necessary so that a person can resist the forces of nature, namely: that the body is able to develop a force capable of overcoming the cold in cold, strong wind, cold rain and sleet. But it is these weather conditions that can suppress human immunity, which promises a cold and other possible diseases, such as bronchitis, pneumonia, etc.
    In addition to directly strengthening the body, hardening also heals:

    • acts positively on the nervous system;
    • improves metabolism( or faster normalizes it);
    • increases muscle strength;
    • gives tone to the whole body;
    • improves blood circulation;
    • normalizes blood pressure.

    Principles of hardening

    If you decide to start hardening, we hasten to inform you that it should be done regularly and at regular intervals. The whole point is that hardening of the body can not remain constant, it varies depending on the surrounding conditions. That is, let's say you successfully carried out the tempering of the body for six months, after which you decided to stop, having decided that your body is strong enough and will be able to cope with negative external factors in the future, and health will remain just as good.

    Recently, scientists of one of the European institutions have proved the fact that regardless of the period of your hardening, the body again returns to the former unprotected state exactly one month of "rest".Therefore, all procedures must be repeated with a certain repetition, then your body will always be healthy, and you will be less exposed to the influence of nature.

    Body hardening methods

    Now we list the main methods of hardening the organism and arrange them in increasing order, that is, from sparing procedures that should be used for beginners to more "hard" ones.

    • Air baths - this procedure is used both for medical and preventive purposes. This method is recommended by doctors. The principle of the method is the effect of natural air on a completely naked body. Air baths are also one of the most effective methods in aerotherapy.
    • Solar baths - exposure to direct sunlight on the human body for its recovery and prevention. As a rule, for hardening use solar and air baths in the complex.
    • Walking barefoot - begin such walks in a warm time and last for a whole year( even in winter).The time of walking also gradually grows, in the cold time they first shrink in time, after getting used - they increase. A place for walking should be chosen carefully, so that there are no glasses, sharp stones and other objects that can injure the feet. You can also start with sand.
    • Contrast shower - the advantages of this method are that you yourself can regulate the temperature of cold water. It is a pouring of cold and hot water( in turn).To do such procedures it is necessary some times, in the morning to finish a contrast shower cold water( for wakefulness), and in the evening - warm( for a dream).
    • Sauna( sauna) - after visiting it, you need to dive into the cool pool. This procedure also very well relaxes the human body.
    • Cold shower - no more than 1 time per day.
    • Snow wiping - you should start gradually, you can even pull out the towel in the snow for the first time and take it off, and then - directly with snow.
    • Bathing in the hole - for the most seasoned people. You should start with pouring ice water, then you should proceed to a gradual, but quick immersion in the water,( for the first time it takes just a few seconds).You should go swimming only when you know the reaction of your body to low temperatures.

    Hardening with cold water

    As with any other type of hardening, dousing with cold water should also take place gradually. This kind should be done in the morning, after sleep. To start, instead of pouring to prepare the body, you can soak the towel in cold water and then wrap it in it. Repeat this procedure every day for two weeks. Then we complicate the procedure by going directly to douches. For douche we need a conventional bucket, preferably with a capacity of 10 liters. In the evening before going to bed, collect a full bucket of cold water and leave it overnight to allow the water to reach room temperature. It should be dumped in such a way that the water hits you, and does not splash in all directions.

    Correct execution of procedures with cold water: go into the bathroom and get straight, take a bucket of water and before pouring water on yourself, take a deep breath, and on exhalation, topple the bucket on yourself.

    After a week, lower the temperature of the water that is poured. In the cold period of the year, this can be done by putting a bucket on the balcony. In winter, if there is an ice hole next to your house, you can dip into it instead of pouring. This kind of hardening is useful not only for health, but also it will help to cheer up and wake up in the morning.

    Quenching a child

    To begin with, you need to establish a healthy lifestyle for the child. A five-minute dousing with water is not serious. Tempering a child is his normal way of life. First of all, spend more time with the child on the street, even if there is too favorable weather. Why do we wonder when the child is sick, getting caught in the rain, or in the winter, after spending very little time on the street? It's all because you keep it in greenhouse conditions and do not let it out on to the street, as soon as the sun went down behind the clouds.

    The child should get used to any weather.

    Allow the child to walk barefoot at home, there is nothing to worry about if he is standing on the cold floor - this is normal. It is abnormal when a child is sick because the body is unable to protect itself, even from such a small thing as the cold floor.

    You can lower the temperature of bathing water in a bathroom to a comfortable baby, because when it is swimming in the summer at sea, the water is not 26 degrees. Also, one does not need to constantly wrap the baby in warm clothes, it should create comfort for the baby, and not make him sweat, which provokes the appearance of various colds. Remember, when the child is warm - his immunity is conserved and is not ready to give a full response to illnesses. Therefore, you do not need to conduct any special procedures for hardening, provide normal conditions for your child, this will be for him best.

    When the child becomes older, you can start taking a contrast shower, gradually lowering the temperature of the water.

    We wish you all good health!

  • correct diet, exercise and refusal of bad habits.

    The HLS also includes tempering the body, but most of us are wrong when they say that quenching is a banal dousing with cold water. In fact, to properly temper, you need to walk barefoot on the ground, bathe in rivers, seas and other bodies of water, sunbathe, take, so-called air baths, and, of course, pour water, the temperature of which will differ from room temperature. But let's talk about everything in order.
