The kidney is a rudimentary shoot covered with kidney scales, which open and fall in the spring. The kidneys are vegetative and generative. Vegetative buds are usually small, have a pointed elongated shape, from them shoots of different lengths or rosettes of leaves are formed. Generative kidneys, by contrast, are large in size, they are often large, round in shape, flowers and shoots are formed from them( for apple and pear) or only flowers without shoots( plum and cherry).Kidney fruit buds have a different life span: in kidney buds, buds can exist and develop for several years, while in stone stones the kidney most often dies in a year. From the kidney, depending on its nature and place of formation, leaves, flowers or a new shoot can form. Leaf, or are vegetative, the buds are formed predominantly in leaf axils on shoots, and only leaves are formed from them.
Flower buds of are somewhat larger than leaf ones, they include all elements of the flower and are laid on shoots from the end of June to the beginning of September. The bud located on the top of the shoot is called apical, or terminal, and out of it can develop depending on the conditions of food leaves or flowers. Knowledge of the structure of the plant is necessary to understand the processes occurring with it, caused by the use of various trimming techniques. Therefore, before you start pruning fruit trees, you should analyze the reaction of plants to this agrotechnical measure.
