1. Acute right-sided otitis media. The effect of an electric UHF field with a power of 40 W, oligothermic phase, two plate-electrodes No. 1, one plate of circular shape on the area in front of the external auditory canal, the other on the mastoid process, an air gap of 1 to 1.5 cm.

2.Exacerbation of chronic bronchitis. UHF exposure to an electric field of 100 W, oligothermic dose, use two plate-electrode No. 2, install transversely: one - on the chest, front to the right of the sternum, the second to fix the rear to the interscapular area.

Researches for scientific substantiation established the following indications:

• hypertensive disease of I and II stages;

• chronic hepatitis;

• lumbosacral radiculitis;

• traumatic arthritis;

• deforming arthrosis-arthritis;

• Inflammatory infiltrate;

• furunculosis;

• abscess.

The air gap under each electrode is not more than 3 cm, the duration of exposure is 7-10-12 minutes during one procedure, daily. For the entire course of treatment, 10 to 12 procedures are prescribed.

3. Hepatitis, mild form, 14-16th day of illness. Exposure to the pathological focus by an electric UHF field with a power of 40 W, to establish an oligothermic dose, to use plate-electrodes No. 3 transversely to the liver region with an air gap of 2-3 cm. The duration of exposure is 10 to 15 minutes, every other day. For the entire course of treatment, 10 to 12 procedures are prescribed.

In the physiotherapy departments of specialized clinics, also devices that produce a pulsed electric field of UHF are also used. The method of treatment with such a zero was developed in the Soviet Union IA.Apricot. This method is characterized by the action of the electric field of UHF in the form of separate impulses-parcels of duration 2 or 8 ms.

Medical practice of applying a pulsed field of UHF showed that during procedures:

• there is no increase in tissue temperature in the pathological focus;

• the blood pressure decreases more steadily if it increases in the initial state;

• the exchange-trophic processes are intensified, and to a large extent.

In the pulsed mode of action on the pathological focus, the high maximum electric field strength of UHF for a short time in the presence of short pauses creates the possibility of intense oscillatory action in the absence of a noticeable thermal effect.

The technique of conducting procedures using a pulsed electric field of UHF is the same as using a continuous electric field of UHF.

Contraindications are the same as with conventional UHF therapy.

In NEP assignments, UHF indicates the pulse duration and the strength of the anode current.

Stage I hypertensive disease. Impact of a pulsed electric field( UEP) of UCH using two plate-electrodes No. 3, which are fixed with gaps: 4 cm in front of the solar plexus, transversely and 2 cm from the rear( also transversely).The duration of the current pulse is 8 ms, the anode current strength is 10-12 mA.The duration of exposure to the pathological focus is 5 minutes( one procedure), daily, 6 to 10 procedures are prescribed for the entire course.

The patient takes all UHF-therapy procedures either in a lying position on a wooden couch, or sitting - depending on the type of disease.
