Children with a delay in weight gain.
A child who is poorly gaining weight also wins if his parents wear it in a bag. Some children, for various medical reasons, gain weight very slowly. In our pediatric practice and for one of our own children, we have been used as a therapeutic agent for growth stimulation wearing in a bag. My medical instructions to parents are very simple: "Put your baby on in the morning and shoot at night. Lull him in his bag before day and night sleep. Wear it when you leave the house, and around the house. Arrange for a long walk, taking with them in the bag of your baby. This will benefit both of you. "
How does carrying in a bag help children grow as well as they can? The movement brings great benefits to developing children. It has a calming effect on them. They are crying less and therefore channel the energy that would be spent on crying, on growth. In addition, the proximity of the mother increases the frequency of feeding, which is another reason that wearing a baby stimulates its growth. Frequent feeding is a powerful stimulus for growth. Perhaps wearing increases the production of growth hormones and enzymes that promote growth. This has been proved in animal experiments. I believe that, in addition to all these stimulating effects, carrying a child in a bag helps children grow well also because they have an organizing effect on them. It seems that the entire body of the child begins to work better when the child is worn.
Child disabled. Parents often spend a lot of time and money on the
's stimulation techniques and didactic exercises to compensate for developmental delays, while the best stimulation available at the lowest price right in front of them is a baby bag. Children with disabilities receive special benefits from wearing. Just imagine what kind of stimulation a child receives: he hears what you hear, sees what you see, moves as you move, because he is close to your ears, your eyes and your mouth. The child is constantly in contact.
Children suffering from cerebral palsy who arched an arch and make sharp movements get a large help from carrying in a bag. The fixed, bent position "in the cradle" or the "kangaroo" position does not allow the child to bend back.(See "The Bag Facilitates Learning" later in this article.)
In our study of the impact of wearing a baby in a bag on children and parents, we have revealed many positive effects. This is how this century-old custom gives such effects.
