  • Phobias and fears of people

Fears surround a person all his life, since birth. Gradually, like a snowball, they grow in number and grow into chronic phobias, which can become aggravated in certain situations, sometimes not yielding to any logical explanations. To date, there are more than 40,000 types of phobias known, but we will consider the seven most common types.

    • Acrophobia - fear of heights. Absolutely grounded fear of every man before the height. The height itself does not frighten, but the probability of falling from it. People with this phobia are afraid even to become on a stool, not to mention the conquest of mountain peaks. Dizziness, impaired coordination and a desire to descend faster from the height, sometimes pushes people to insane actions, and even suicidal actions, although previously such inclinations were not observed.
    • Claustrophobia is the fear of confined space. The association with the trap, from which there is no way out, gives rise to panic and horror in the person, accompanied by a lack of oxygen and bouts of stiflingness. Claustrophobic spaces include elevators, fitting rooms, narrow and narrow rooms without windows, as well as rooms with large and dense population.

    • Glossophobia - fear of public speaking. Loss of consciousness, dry mouth, involuntary urination - this is the manifestation of this fear. Panic in front of a large number of people looking and listening, together with inner insecurity, give rise to stupid thoughts in my head that wind up a coil called glossophobia.
    • Arachnophobia is the fear of spiders. In women, the manifestation of this phobia is observed much more often than in the opposite sex. Even a very small and harmless representative of arthropods can cause shock and panic attacks. In people with arachnophobia, the very thought of them causes unpleasant sensations and a fastidious twitching.
    • Aerofobia is the fear of flying in an airplane. Fear of flying is a factor that prevents people from moving freely beyond the border. The safety of the aircraft, as a transport, is proven, but this does not soothe the true aerophobes. For them, the airplane is safe as long as it is on the ground, but it is worth it to begin the ascent, as a hopelessness, a complete loss of contact with the earth, a huge air gap and the lack of the ability to save "cover with a head" a stream of panic.
    • Nobofobia is a fear of the dark. Fear comes from childhood and does not stop people from getting too old. Experienced stress, the influence of others, the broadcast of horror films on TV channels, plus the child's imagination, will undoubtedly leave their imprint, and lay the foundation for the development of no-one's phobia. Fear of darkness is unfounded, since its cause is in the brain, and not in the dark corner of the room, behind the door or under the bed.
    • Necrophobia is a fear of the dead or dying. In people with this phobia, one thought of death causes a shiver in the body and a panic attack, not to mention the dead man seen in reality. For a nektophobe, it does not matter whether the dying person is a person or an animal, the smell of death emanating from the body is the key to it.
