Making a palm from plastic bottles

For producing a palm tree you will need:

• Plastic bottles( at least 100 pieces, green andbrown)
• Scissors
• Knife
• Candle
• Piece of fittings or iron pin
• Wire

Step-by-step instruction for collecting the palm:

1. First of all, all the bottles must be prepared: wash, clean from labels, remove the safety rings from the neckfor cover. Any bottle from smallest to large will suit.

2. Use a knife to cut off the bottom of the green bottles. The bottom is cut as close as possible to the edge, so that the remainder of the bottles is longer, then the palm leaves will be fluffy and large.

3. The bottle is cut.1.5 liter, liter - three parts, 2-liter - 4. Cut the bottle to the very throat, and cut each of the petals on the edge - to give the desired shape.

4. We make on each leaf fringe - very finely, so the palm tree will be more magnificent. The center should remain about 1 cm untouched bottle.

5. We light the candle and bring the flame to the outside of the petal. The fringe will get an interesting shape, and will become more alive.

There is another way to make a trunk for a palm tree, as a result of which, the palm tree will have a slightly different appearance:

1. To create such a trunk, you need to cut brown bottles,so that the bottom part was a bit bigger. The upper part is cut into 8 pieces to the point of narrowing the bottle, and then cut the ends of each of the 8 pieces so that they take a triangular shape and bend at the base, the same way we do with the bottom of the bottle, but in it we make a hole equal in diameterneck.

2. Further parts of the trunk, as in the first case, are placed on the iron rod, an alternative way to bind the leaves and trunk is a simple transparent tape.
