In Russia they decided to apply early diagnosis of cancer
The State Research Center for Virology and Biotechnology has been working for several years on the development of a new method for diagnosing cancer at an early stage. Abroad such systems are available, but there is no certification in our country. The Russian invention is distinguished by high accuracy of diagnostics and by many parameters exceeds existing analogues, it is also important that the price for it is much cheaper.
Previously, the definition of oncological pathology in the body was detected by blood only in the late stages, sometimes it was possible to do the second. But in connection with the new development of Novosibirsk experts on DNA, it is possible to conduct early diagnosis of cancer.
Scientists have developed a special oncomarker, which is an enzyme. Using it, it is possible to determine the presence of cancer formation at the earliest stage from the patient's DNA( from blood, urine or saliva).During such an analysis Novosibirsk experts pay attention not to protein, but determine the presence of modified DNA, which are present during the development of the cancer process.
It is characteristic that such DNA in the body appears long before the proteins specific for malignant formation begin to be produced and determined. This diagnostic is also attractive because it does not require expensive equipment and can be carried out in almost any laboratory. To perform this analysis, you need to take just a few milliliters of blood, and after 5 hours you will be able to find out the result.
Such early diagnosis of cancer pathology allows detecting the existing malignant process in more than 90% of cases. The cost of such an analysis ranges from 1500 rubles. For comparison, it is worth noting the price of foreign similar diagnostic systems, which is about 150 euros, while their "sensitivity" in determining malignant formations, as a rule, does not exceed 60%.
Scientists of the Novosibirsk Center for Virology and Biotechnology are now working on the development of a special test system that allows to determine at the earliest stage cancer of the colon and rectum. In the future plans the creation of such systems for early diagnosis of lung, breast and stomach cancer. Ideally, what the developers of this diagnostic system seek to include in the list of compulsory medical examinations, which will allow detecting malignant pathology at the earliest stages and begin timely treatment.
