    As we have repeatedly pointed out, the simplest way to relax the eyes is to close them for a more or less long period of time and a mental representation of something pleasant. This method serves as a first aid and should be resorted to first of all, which everyone usually instinctively does. Only very few people do not benefit from it. In fact, after all, how wonderful it is to know what and how to do, when the eyes get tired and hurt during work, and the vision weakens.

    Most people suffer from these or other visual impairments and do not know how to get rid of them, because they do not know that at the heart of them( if the eye is organically healthy) lies - repeat again and again - involuntary tension.

    There are several types of stress: physical, associated with muscles and their tone;emotional, associated with the state and habits of the nervous system;mental, caused by the violation of physical rhythms and mental harmony. Any of these stresses has a negative impact on the eyes. Eyes, thus, are a kind of barometer of a person's state - both good and bad.

    You can learn to relax and relieve these stresses. Tense vision takes away 90% of his nervous strength from the eye. When, through relaxation, this nervous power is restored to its natural level, then the calm of a long-forgotten, or perhaps never-mastered strength, returns.

    Eyes, however, can not only reflect our mental state, but also create, set the desired states and moods, if we have so mastered our eyes that we can control them. The role of the eyes in the formation of our mental state is the greatest, and the relationship here is direct and indisputable: in fact, the states themselves are read in the eyes. This, by the way, explains the fact that the view can never be repeated exactly.

    We ourselves do not see our eyes, but the look in the mirror immediately and inevitably distorts the expression, while the state of our psyche changes, an unconscious change occurs, and our state is restructured through a change in the expression of the eyes. But we can consciously change the expression of the eyes, and so we can consciously control our moods through them.

    For this, first of all it is important to learn to relax the eyes. Relaxed eyes - a pledge of general calm. The eye, in addition to the muscles of the eyelids, whose condition we can observe directly, is controlled also by the hidden muscles of the eyeballs. You can learn to relax both.

    Vision, as we showed you, is only 1/10 physical process and 9/10 - mental. Therefore, the brain should be re-encouraged to pay attention to images transmitted to it by eyes, no matter how imperfect the images may be at first. It is very important and what you think about while doing your exercises. Therefore, the importance of mental exercises should not be underestimated. Once you try to execute them, you immediately see how they can be effective.

    Remember that a minute rest never takes time, because it increases efficiency and prolongs the active state. Interrupting your work with a short rest, you can do much more than if you work all day, without breaks.

    Here is a series of exercises of a mental and physical nature, the purpose of which is to destroy the habit of watching closely through the physical and mental movement of the gaze.

    Take this advice: if you feel at the mercy of any destructive emotion( anger, etc.), when the peace of your soul is broken, then the simplest and quickest way to deal with this emotion is to make contact with the mirror. Look at the expression on your face, especially the expression of your eyes, and peace and order will be quickly restored.
