    How to cook borscht with chicken is not known to every hostess, because usually everyone cooks a classic borsch - all the famous dish, for the preparation of which you need red meat or a bone. But you can cook more dietary borsch with chicken meat. This borscht has its own unique taste, it is less fatty than borscht with red meat.

    Today we will tell you in detail about all the subtleties of cooking such a borsch.

    Ingredients

    For three liters of borsch with chicken you will need:

    - chicken breast 400 gr;

    - one medium-sized beetroot;

    - one carrot, also of medium size;

    - white cabbage;

    - potatoes, three to four medium potatoes;

    - sweet pepper one;

    - tomato paste one tablespoon,

    - greens, salt, garlic.

    Step-by-step cooking process

    First boil the chicken breast. Remove the meat from the broth, let it cool down. On the broth we will cook our delicious borsch.

    If the broth is small, add water, but note that the pan should not be full. The liquid should be slightly more than two-thirds of the pots. You still have to fill the pan with the rest of the ingredients. Put the pan on medium heat.

    Cut the beets and carrots into thin strips. If the straw does not work or you want to save time, grate the vegetables on a large grater. Slightly fry beets and carrots on vegetable oil, and then add tomato paste diluted in half a glass of water to them. The gas under the frying pan is reduced and we leave the beets and carrots stew. Potatoes should be cleaned and cut into cubes.

    Slice the cabbage thinly and send it into a saucepan. Remove the sweet pepper from the seeds, cut into cubes and send it to borsch. When potatoes and cabbage are almost ready, add to them a dressing of beets with carrots. Cover the borsch with a lid, lower the fire, let the borscht stand on a small fire for about an hour. Try it, enough salt.

    Chicken meat cut into pieces and add to borsch.

    Our chicken borsch is almost ready. It remains to add greens: dill, parsley and finely chopped garlic. Everything else depends on your taste and on what kind of spice you add to your borsch.
