    I. General part of

    The main tasks of the nurse of the ENT department are performing medical and diagnostic appointments of an otolaryngologist and assisting him in organizing specialized medical care for the population.     • lubrication of the nasal mucous membrane, pharynx, nasopharynx;

    • toilet of the ears;

    • blowing the ears of Politzer;

    • introduction of antibiotics into the maxillary sinuses by the method of displacement;

    • massage of tympanic membranes( vibrating and manual);

    • introduction of turundum with medicinal substances into the ears;

    • washing the ear with medicinal solutions;

    • injection of powders in the ear, nose.

    5. Assist the otolaryngologist with ENT surgery.

    6. After the end of the ENT surgery, carry out the processing and cleaning of the instruments, the ordering of the medical documentation, workplaces.

    7. Participate in conducting sanitary education work among patients.

    8. Systematically improve their skills.

    9. To issue medical documentation under the supervision of the doctor: extracts from the case histories of inpatients, disability sheets, referrals to the MCEC, etc.

    III.Rights

    1. To require the administration of the medical institution to create the necessary conditions in the workplace, ensuring the quality performance of their duties.

    2. To receive the necessary information for performing his functional duties from a doctor-otolaryngologist, senior nurse of the department, the main nurse.

    The assessment of the NOR-nurse's work is performed by an otolaryngologist, the chief( senior) nurse, on the basis of the fulfillment of her functional duties, compliance with internal regulations, labor discipline, and moral and ethical standards.
