The doll's bed can be made of various materials, for example, cardboard or plywood. But the cot is made of wood more durable and durable.

Bed-cradle for the doll

Materials and tools required:

• plywood sheet;
• fret saw;
• pencil with ruler.

First determine the length of the desired bed. This is the length of the doll plus a few centimeters. Then make the markings on the sheet of plywood. There will be five parts: the main part, two backrests, and two side strips.

Cutting the crib backs with a jig saw, make the corners not sharp, but rounded. And the bottom can be filed in such a way that the cradle swayed.

We process all corners and edges with sandpaper. We collect all the parts of the crib together.

The child will just be delighted with this crib.

Bed for a doll from a box

Here's another option, how to make a crib for dolls out of the box. In this case, a box from under the Hercules.

First cut out one of the side pieces from the box. Cut the box in half. From each halve we cut out the legs with a height of 4.5 cm and a width of 2.5 cm.

We paste the cut off side of the box, thus extending the crib. To keep the bed details better, fix them with a stapler.

Paste the bed base with white paper. For the backs, we need a second box or sheet of cardboard. Cut out for the backrest, which will be located at the foot of the bed, a rectangle 7 cm high and 12 centimeters wide. We glue the backing blank from both sides with white paper. We make the top of the backrest curly. We decorate the back with strips of foil, placing them in the form of a fan. The decor is made on both sides of the back so that the cot is beautiful from all sides. For the backrest, which will be located at the head of the bed, we cut out a cardboard rectangle 12 cm high and 12 cm wide.
