    Mullein scepeterous - a two-year felt-feathered plant up to 180 cm high. Leaves in the mullein are whitish-felted, the flowers are large, light yellow in color, collected in a spicate brush. Stalk straight, less often branched in the upper part.

    Yellow mullein flowers bloom gradually from the bottom up in turn, so the plant blooms for a long time - from June to August. Fruit is an ovate capsule.

    Mullein grows on vacant lots, among bushes, in forest glades, manure piles, on neglected areas, along roads. Distributed in the southern part of the European territory of Russia, Ukraine, the Baltics, the Far East.

    For healing purposes, pick up the flowers' corollas, previously separating them from the calyx. Prepare raw materials in dry, clear weather in the morning.

    In folk medicine infusion of flower haloes is prescribed for diseases of the lungs, bronchi, with bronchial asthma. It is also recommended for inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and bile ducts. The main effect of the mullein is expectorant, antispasmodic and emollient.

    Thanks to the presence in the plant of essential oils, saponins, mucus, it has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antispasmodic, diaphoretic, diuretic, enveloping and softening effect. It is used in the treatment of many diseases associated with diabetes mellitus( oral disease, ischemic disease, kidney disease).

    Apply mullein scepeter-like in the form of infusions, tinctures, powder.

    Infusion of flowers: 1 tbsp.l.flowers for 200 ml of boiling water. Infuse 1 hour, drain. Take 1 tbsp.l.in three hours.

    Tincture: 1 tbsp.l.flowers pour 100 ml of alcohol with a strength of 70 °, insist in a warm place for 14 days, drain. Use for grinding with radiculitis, neuralgia, arthritis and rheumatism.

    Infusion of mullein flowers rinse the mouth with gingivitis, stomatitis, inflammatory diseases of the mucosa. In folk medicine scalded leaves of mullein are applied to wounds, burn surfaces.

    Fresh leaves of mullein cooked in milk are used in the form of painkillers or bandages for burns, panarits and hemorrhoids.

    Broth from finely chopped mullein root is a good diuretic and is used for gout and kidney stones. The daily dose of broth is 200-220 ml. Take before meals or on an empty stomach.

    Flowers of mallow, leaf of mother-and-stepmother, flowers of Mullein. Take only 1 tsp, pour 0.5 liters of water, boil for 5 minutes. Insist 45 minutes, drain. Apply to rinse with sore throats and pharyngitis. In some cases, add to the main composition by pinch( pre-shredded) the root of the comfrey and the root of valerian.

    As a sweat collection use a mixture of the following herbs:

    Elderberry flowers, linden flowers, Mullein flowers, dried raspberries, mallow flowers.
