Perennial herbaceous plant 15-30 cm tall, with rosette of broad basal leaves. The plate of the leaf is rounded, smooth, with long petioles and a smooth edge. A similar use is also made of plantain lan-cetolist: an aqueous decoction of the root or the whole plant is drunk for pulmonary tuberculosis, headache, gastric diseases, as an expectorant, with a snake bite, with a knuckle.
Infusion of plantain with nettle in equal parts is very effective in bleeding nasal, uterine and hemorrhoidal, which has been repeatedly tested.
