Well, if in essence, then the kindergarten with the "leaving" the preschool child in it without parents in any case does not stand up to criticism. This is the product of soulless Soviet and soulless American systems. Separation from parents can not be motivated by the fact that socialization is necessary. Socialization must be carried out without this separation.

But one more thing is added to this. I taught for a long time in the teacher training Universities. And he came to the conclusion that we should also teach at the school itself. And he taught there to teach students how to teach children. But I was an exception. The university is usually taught by those who no longer teach children. Maybe they taught before, but now they do not. In a medical college, associate professors operate and teach students to operate directly in the operating room. And in the pedagogical universities there is no such. Including pre-school faculties. Well, what can teach in pedagogy a person who professionally does not deal with children. .. No, of course, there can be exceptions. There are moral and professional geniuses in preschool education. But there are so few of them that do not take this into account. Of course, some associate professors and professors take research staff from the corresponding research institutes. But how do they take it? Only from books and articles? Ochchen interesting. So, some develop methods, others teach future specialists a practical. .. Or is there somewhere a children's institution in which a senior researcher trains an assistant professor? Again, the assistant professor of medicine and heals and teaches. And in pedagogy I do not know this. Rather, in such cases, the student in training and production practices takes from the specialists of practicals something. Or he himself works and learns, taking something from those of others, inventing something on his own.
Do not expect that commercial options will help either. In commercial kindergartens and schools are also far from the best professionals. Most often these are commercially aggressive people.(As well as in private medical clinics.) A real professional( schizoid or epileptoid) remains in state institutions, he does not like changes, it is difficult for him to adapt.
So that kindergartens in general, and now even more so, I do not like.
But how to be then with communication on a horizontal level, with socialization? Lena and I decided that it is better to go with the child to different development centers. They are now a dime a dozen, you can choose. But there are also disadvantages here. First, development centers, as a rule, work on a commercial basis, and people in them pursue basically the goal of earning. In one such center I talked with a probable "teacher".The image, including speech, and the psychotechnics of communication were as follows:

And yet there are more options.
Another minus: in developing centers parents are not allowed to attend classes. This is also a kind of pedagogy? Lena and I did not approach such pedagogy.

I liked it all. But at home I still preferred a different method. We just talked with Katya on everyday topics, but at a slightly higher conceptual level compared to what children of her age use. Katya dreams of the "Green Door", says that she has a "green key".We support this analogy of her with a fairy-tale "golden key".Because in the "Green Door" and in fact there is something fabulous, attractive.

What do we, parents, do in the conditions of given rules of the game? If radically, then do not accept, but change the conditions. Solve the issue of priorities. Well, if we continue to exist in these far from humane conditions, then. .. let the parent pedagogy thrive. Parents let them unite for communication and development of children. And for this, there must be free parents. That is, they should have free time. In accordance with the constitution, father can not work. .. and engage in upbringing and economy. But the legislation has yet to catch up and only become constitutional in the family plan. Terms such as "breadwinner", "dependency", sound not only unconstitutional, but also monstrously archaic, and most importantly, immoral. The moral consciousness of the people must undergo the same process. In the meantime, okay, let's be more natural to consider this "sexual shift".Let even with the working father, mother deals mainly with education. Do not need expensive sports and expensive "rest".It is necessary to deal with children in organized parent groups. Even without paid psychologists, but from books. Including my own.
Lena and I have experience of studying with kids, four-year-olds, friends of our Katya. I remember Octavianus Augustus was not an emperor. He was princeps, the first among equals. And I was like a princeps in a group of parents, that is, I took the leadership role. We developed this method not as an author's program, but as a technology that can be used by a group of parents without psychoedagogical education. There is nowhere to go - we share this experience. Parents did not leave our child in charge, but participated in the process. But all the same the children are "in the aquarium", and the parents are outside of it. There you can gossip, but children - on an equal footing with their parents, are included in the general conversation.
In general, we have every child - a subject, not an object. He is not punished and he is not forbidden. The undesirable action of the child
is stopped by switching his attention. If this does not work out, then you need to take a break. Classes are held in a game form.
The program as such is missing, everything goes by gravity. But all the same, there is a plan. I told that our Katya we are taking lessons in rhythmic gymnastics at the Children's Sports Palace. No, we are not going to make an athlete out of her, but while she is passionate about the movements: she likes to "sleep on twine", stand on her head and twist the tape. And I like that she likes it. So, it was there, in the Palace of children's sports, in the advertisement I saw the phrase "strong thinking".This psychologists in the sports palace recruited a group of children. I liked the word combination;unfortunately, I did not see the names of psychologists in the announcement, but I quote them with gratitude. I also thought it significant that the leaders of the Children's Sports Palace gave psychologists a playground. Indeed, together with the strength of the muscles, it is necessary to develop thinking( I would add: morality).And we want children to develop not so much the strength of the muscles as the power of thinking. Note, however, that in our understanding this is somewhat different than in the announcement of the psychologists quoted above.
