Spring is a great time of the year. But how often a good spring mood is clouded by the so-called seasonal indisposition: like a person and not sick, but constantly experiencing fatigue, irritability, drowsiness, memory decreases, work capacity.

Such a clear reaction of the body is typical for residents of countries with clearly defined seasons of the year. And there are similar phenomena, as studies have shown, it was at the very beginning of spring, the arrival of which was preceded by winter days - short, often overcast, when the weather was extremely unstable.

Medical scientists have different reasons. One of the main ones is the deficit of solar ultraviolet irradiation, especially in cities where

work of industrial enterprises significantly changes the microclimate. At this time there is little direct sunlight, in addition, people are rarely in the air, and indoors, even in sunny weather, the spectrum of ultraviolet rays, which has a physiological significance, does not fall: glass panes for it are practically impenetrable.

Solar "hunger" adversely affects the condition of the skin - the skin is worse supplied with blood and lymph, it becomes dry, lethargic;the body's supply of vitamin D decreases - it is synthesized only under the direct action of ultraviolet rays on the skin, as a result the body absorbs calcium and phosphorus worse. Reduced protective reactions to microbes and viruses - there is a tendency to cold and infectious diseases.

Fortunately, the deficit of ultraviolet rays is easily replenished by household quartz lamps. In healthy people reddening of the skin occurs after two minutes of irradiation, and with a deficit of ultraviolet radiation - after a minute. But, of course, the best thing is to be more out in the fresh air, under direct sunlight.

Variable spring weather can affect the chemical composition of blood, blood pressure, metabolism and the course of other vital processes.

For example, it was observed that people with low atmospheric pressure often become forgetful - the number of things forgotten in transport and in stores increases. For blood pressure, there is a tendency to rise in the cold and to decrease - in the heat. Scientists also note that the human brain works more clearly on dry, cool days, but when clear weather lasts for a long time, the productivity of mental labor decreases;rainy day after long sunny weather gives a jump in the efficiency of work. In the special literature on the relationship between weather phenomena and functional abilities of the human body, there is an opinion, in particular, that children conceived in the cooler months of the year, on average, have highermental abilities in comparison with those conceived in warm time.

We should not forget about such a significant factor as the deficiency of vitamins in the diet. The hypovitaminous condition does not cause obvious signs of the disease, but the spring deficiency of vitamins does its job - people become more irritable, the sensitivity to sounds is aggravated, sleep is disturbed, work capacity decreases, and colds often occur.

Unfortunately, now more refined, maximally purified food products are used, which practically do not contain vitamins. It is necessary to eat as much as possible in spring fresh, raw vegetables. And using quick-frozen, do not boil them for more than 15 minutes. It is not recommended to reheat these dishes several times. And, of course, you need to take pharmacy vitamin preparations.

Also worth mentioning is the specific reaction of some people to thunderstorms, especially the first, in late spring.
