The most important component of the protein is considered to be amino acids, which in turn are an organic compound. Many have heard that the word "amino acids", "protein" or "protein" is often included in the questions of athletes about proper nutrition, all of which are very similar concepts, and it is these components that help to quickly build up the musculature. And why does the body need amino acids, if you are not an athlete and do not aspire to a muscular body? For what else is this connection answered, and what kinds of it are there?
Why do I need amino acids and which ones are the most important?
There are more than 20 amino acids in total, and each of them is responsible for helping to work with this or that organ, contributing to the progress of a certain process in the body. And when sorting, the element causes pain and poisoning. Let's consider, when it is necessary to accept amino acids of a certain group and for what they answer. However, it can be precisely said that amino acids are, in general, peculiar bricks in the structure of muscle mass.
- Aspartic acid( responsible for digestion of minerals) - most of all in meat, whey and seafood. It is produced by the body on its own;
- Glutamic acid( reduces hunger for sweet and alcohol) - milk, hard cheese, beef. It is produced due to the breakdown of proteins;
- Ornithine( produces growth hormone - important for children) - watermelon, nuts and seafood. A replaceable amino acid, but with age, this ability in a person disappears;
- Glycine( responsible for cerebral activity) - cold meat, quail eggs, pumpkin seeds and walnuts, peanuts and ginger. Indispensable, and not even produced by artificial cultivation;
- Serin( renews cells) - peanuts, soy, meat and dairy products. We replace only partially, that is, it is produced from glycine and threonine;
- Taurine( absorbs fats) - marine products, poultry, eggs, meat, dairy products. Replaceable acid;
- Proline( "heals" injuries, more precisely, contributes to this) - dairy products, soy, eggs, meat, green cabbage, nuts. It is synthesized by protein digestion;
- Glutamine( direct source of energy) - in beef, cod, pike perch, sea bass and hard cheese. A replaceable amino acid;
- Cysteine (antioxidant) - salmon fillet, pork, sunflower seeds, walnut, milk. Replace, and is normally synthesized by the body;
- Alanin( another source of energy) - dairy and meat products. Conditionally replace, that is, produced by the decay or combination of other amino acids and elements.
Now we can see for certain why athletes need amino acids, of course, not all should be consumed in large doses, but necessarily those that contribute to fat burning and muscle building. However, this "happiness" does not last long, if the athlete stops the constant intake of supplements, then the muscles go off as quickly as they came.
And why do you need amino acids in bodybuilding? The first reason is the build-up of muscles, but not only. Many athletes engaged in this sport can get injured during performances, and then the amino acids become extremely necessary, and not for growth, but as for the restoration of damaged muscle mass. Of course, adequate treatment, depending on the damage will not hurt.
