Useful and medicinal properties of the erect erect larvae( Kalgan, Uzik)

Perennial herbaceous plant up to 50 cm tall. The roots are shallow, thin, numerous, densely, the

covers a thick, woody, almost horizontal rhizome, red outside and yellowish white inside. Stems thin, branched, erect with hairs. Leaves are triple, regular, sessile, yellowish. Flowers solitary, axillary, four-membered, in contrast to other blood vessels, on long pedicels, yellow. Fruits - leaflets, smooth. Blossoms from May to August.

The plant is spread all over the place. It grows in forests, on moist meadows, bushes, glades, on sandy soil.

With a therapeutic purpose, rhizomes 3-7 cm long without roots, leaves, root, and sometimes the whole plant are used. The grass is collected during flowering, rhizomes - in autumn or spring before the appearance of leaves. Shelf life of raw materials is 6-8 years.

In medical practice, infusions are used from the rhizomes of the cinquefoil erect as an astringent, bactericidal and hemostatic for dysentery and ulcerative colitis, with various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract( enteritis, enterocolitis, dyspepsia), dysentery, gastric ulcers, as hemostatic in internal bleeding: pulmonary, intestinal, uterine. Effective drugs from the rhizome with inflammation and ulcers of the stomach and intestines, emphysema, pulmonary tuberculosis and especially with diarrhea and cough, as well as with liver diseases, jaundice, gout and rheumatism.

Especially important is the astringent action of the tinder, thanks to which a protective film is formed against bacteria, chemical and mechanical influences accompanied by inflammation of the tissues. Capillaries of blood vessels and arteries become impermeable to plasma and leukocytes. Particularly well this action is shown on the inflamed, loosened, reddened tissue of the gastric mucosa and intestine.

Doctors from Chisinau and Tyumen have published reports on the use of medicines for the treatment of patients with hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver. Specia

leaf from Siberia prepared a decoction of wildly growing tentacles erect from 20 g of aboveground parts of the plant( leaves, stems, inflorescences) and 5 g of roots. All this was poured with 800 ml of water, boiled for 15 minutes, then insisted for 20 hours. Remained about 600 ml of reddish-brown broth, a specific, slightly astringent, with light bitterness, which was 4 daily doses of 50 ml per intake, 3 times a day for 30-40 minutes before meals with 1 teaspoon of jam, honey orSahara.

The results of treatment of patients with acute hepatitis can be considered encouraging. Within 4-5 days the general condition of patients improved significantly, and appetite was restored. The disease did not go into a chronic form. Given the severity and duration of the commonly occurring acute inflammation of the liver, the results of treatment must be recognized as good.

A decoction of erectile larvae was used in 45 patients with cirrhosis of the liver in the edematous ascites stage. The broth was prepared from 25 g of aerial parts of the plant and 5 g of roots, 600 ml of water were poured, boiled for 30 minutes in an enameled container in a closed form, insisted, strained. Used in a warm form from 50 to 100 ml 3 times a day for two hours before meals. At the same time, the intake of liquid was limited to 500-600 ml per day, salt - up to 3-4 grams per day. All patients before the treatment had swelling, severe exhaustion. The therapeutic effect of the broth of cinquefoil began on the 6th-8th day. Improved appetite, the dryness of skin and mucous membranes disappeared.

Outwardly, the cauliflower is directly used as rinses and lotions for angina, bleeding gums, for the treatment of bleeding wounds, ulcers, burns, and frostbites.

In folk medicine, the spine is used upright in the form of infusion, decoction and tincture in inflammations and stomach ulcers, inflammation of the entire gastrointestinal tract, diarrhea, dysentery, as hemostatic in internal bleeding: pulmonary, intestinal, uterine, with diseases caused by lifting of gravity,heart diseases.

Ointment is used for cracks in the hands and feet, burns, soaking eczema and other skin diseases.

Application of

Tincture of 15%: 45 drops 2-3 times a day.

Broth: 20 g per 200 ml;1 tbsp.spoon 5-6 times a day for 30 minutes before meals with pulmonary hemorrhage.

Ointment from roots: 5 g of finely chopped roots per glass of butter;cook for 5 minutes.

Infusion of rhizomes on milk: 1 tbsp.a spoonful of rhizomes on a glass of milk, insist 2 hours, take 1 tbsp.spoon 3-4 times a day for 30 minutes before eating.
