Features of the game and its educational value. Unlike previous games, this preschool child is offered not an imaginary situation, but a specific task, the solution of which requires the child to mobilize his efforts. This is a new step towards the formation of strong-willed qualities and mastery of one's behavior.
The child himself must choose his partner, thus gaining the opportunity to express sympathy to one of his peers. Therefore, the game affects the relationship of children in the group. The element of the competition contained in it( who will soon reach and take a free seat) makes the child to be very attentive, collected to successfully cope with the space-motor task, and not to violate the rules of conduct in joint activities.
Description of the game and its techniques."Let's check which of you can run fast!" - the teacher addresses the children. He offers everyone to join hands and build into a beautiful smooth circle. Children drop their hands and sit on the floor( if the game is held indoors) face inside the circle. The teacher, being behind the circle, bypasses him, saying:
The fire is burning, the water boils, You will be washed today, I will not catch you!
Children repeat the words. At the last word, an adult touches one of the guys, asks him to stand up, turn to face him, and then says: "One, two, three - run!" The teacher shows you in which direction you need to run after the circle,a place. The educator and the child from all directions round the circle. The adult gives the baby the opportunity to take the first place and again becomes a guide. He once again bypasses the circle and repeats the words, giving the children the opportunity to memorize them and learn the rules of the new game. Choosing another child, the adult this time tries to take the first place in a circle. Now the child becomes a guide and chooses his partner for the competition. The winner is awarded with applause. So in turn, children compete with each other.
Rules of the game.
1. Choose the partners of someone who has never run.
2. Run in a circle in opposite directions.
3. The one who did not have time to take a place in the circle, becomes leading.
Tips for the educator. The game is very simple in its organization. It does not require a lot of space and can be carried out either outdoors or indoors. It should be borne in mind that it is difficult for babies to stand still for a long time, they become tired, become inattentive and restless. So, first, play the game!in a room where there is an opportunity to put children or on the carpet, or on cooked chairs.
The game must be played quickly, vividly. It is important to satisfy the desire of each child to participate in the competition. At the same time, it is equally important to teach children not only to consider themselves, but also to others, and to play the role of active fans in the competition.
