Gelatin is obtained when processing connective tissues of animals, so gelatin is an animal of animal origin, that is, collagen. Hence the indispensability of gelatin in cosmetology. Today we will talk about how to make gelatin mask for the face at home by own hands.
Collagen is responsible for the elasticity and elasticity of the skin. With age, there is a shortage of collagen and the skin becomes flabby, saggy, losing its shape.
All age-related creams and agents suggest the presence of collagen in them, but collagen, which is used in cosmetics, has too large molecules and they do not go deep into the skin.
In gelatin, collagen molecules are split and can penetrate deep into the skin. Therefore, gelatin is very useful for the skin, which underwent age-related changes. Due to its composition, the mask of gelatin smoothes fine wrinkles and tightens the face oval.
Anti-aging and smoothing mask
Gelatin is diluted in a small amount of water and cooled. For oily skin, gelatin is added to kefir or curdled milk, and for dry skin, milk is added. To thicken the mixture, add a little wheat flour or oat to it.
Apply a moisturizer before applying the mask, and then apply a mask on the face.
Relax and allow the mask to dry completely on the face. While the mask is on the face, you can not talk and smile. The person must be calm and still. Remove the mask with warm water.
For the wilting, coarse skin, a banana pulp is added to the gelatin. For dry skin add the flesh of apricot, persimmon, mandarin. For combination skin, a mask based on gelatin with kiwi, orange, or peach is a good choice. For oily skin - cherry, grapefruit, raspberry.
For oily skin, dilute gelatin and whipped protein are mixed. The mask perfectly cleanses the pores and narrows them.
To the diluted gelatin, add the grated cucumber pulp. Cool the mass on the face. This mask is suitable for all skin types and gives a clearing effect.
Unfortunately, gelatin for the face does not suit everyone. This product also has its contraindications, although there are not many of them. Firstly, some may have an individual intolerance, but besides this, skin wounds or other injuries are taboo for the use of such masks. Also, if there are abscesses or neoplasms on the skin, you should refrain from using gelatin.
Like any other mask, this is applied only after the skin is well cleaned. It is better to pre-steam your face with steam, compress or hot water. You can also use a scrub or cleanser lotion.
The maximum effect can be achieved if during the procedure to be in a quiet state, without making any mimic movements.
If gelatin is used for the face from wrinkles, the frozen film on the skin is removed with warm water. After the mask has been steamed, the remains are rinsed off under a cold spray. After the procedure, it is important to narrow the pores and use a nutritious cream.
For masks, only pure gelatin that does not include additives and coloring pigments is suitable.
