Brave Mice
Features of the game and its educational value. The game is aimed at educating the children's ability to restrain themselves, as well as evaluate the implementation of game rules. Now the task facing the child is significantly more complicated: it takes a long exposure( a signal to action is given after a long pause), and the danger of being caught is more likely. The spatial conditions for motions become more complicated. All this teaches the child to control his behavior and contributes to the formation of strong-willed qualities of his personality.
This game, like the previous ones, is connected with the performance of role-playing actions. The imaginary situation helps the baby to solve the task. But, unlike previous games, active actions are performed in small groups( five to six children) in turn. The rest of the participants play the role of a jury. Observing and evaluating the correctness of the actions of peers, they notice errors and inaccuracies. This is important for better mastering the rules of the game, more precise and conscious implementation of them. Thus, the game not only teaches children restraint, but also creates important prerequisites for the formation of self-control.
Description of the game and its techniques. This game is better to conduct in a mixed group, where there are children of four or five years of age. It begins with the organization of the playing space, to which children are also attracted: they put chairs for everyone in a row. The teacher carries two features perpendicular to the row of chairs( the distance between them is approximately 20 steps), and from the side he places a chair for the cat's catch.
Children sit down on the stools. Of these, five to six people are chosen who will be bold mice, and one child - for the role of a cat. The mice stand at the dash, and the cat takes the place in her chair.
With the beginning of the verse text, which the educator speaks with the children, the mice make several steps towards the second line.
Words
Send out the mouse somehow
See what time.
One-two-three-four,
The mice tugged at the weight.
Suddenly there was a terrible ringing!
( Long pause.)
The mice ran away.
Movements Children-mice cautiously creep up and stop about midway between the two features.
Children-spectators clap their hands, and the mice do their movements with their hands, as if pulling at weights. The mice and the cat start to flee in fright, ready to flee. The pause is filled with a "fight of the clock", which imitates the educator and the children-spectators, saying: "Bom-bom-bom!" Mice run away, but the cat catches them.
To escape from a mouse cat can for any trait, moving either backwards or forwards. The Cat catches them only in the space between the
with two traits. Those mice that the cat touched are considered caught. The children-spectators who perform the role of the jury, together with the tutor, note which mice were brave, which cowardly, whom the cat caught, whether the cat was clever, whether the rules of the game were violated by the cat and mice.
After that, new mice and a cat are assigned, and the game is repeated again.
Rules of the game.
1. It is possible to escape only after the last phrase of the text is pronounced( "Mouse ran away").
2. You can catch mice only in the space between two features. The cat has no right to appear outside the line.
3. To rescue from a cat it is authorized behind any feature, at the choice of the child.
4. Caught are those mouse, to whom the cat touched. It is forbidden to grab and drag the mouse.
Tips for the educator. One of the main points of this game is the strict observance of its rules and in particular the holding of a long pause before the movements. The pause is filled with "clock fighting", which determines its duration, and also makes it easier for the kids to wait for the signal allowing the run. In the future, with the repetition of the game, the duration of the pause may increase.
The decisive condition for the success of this game is the creation of a figurative situation. Pay attention to the fact that the mice are not afraid to fall into the cat's paws, because they are bold and cunning. The mice are very curious, they were interested in the clock, so they pulled the weight.
Children-mice should independently find a way out of the situation, that is, decide where to run from the cat. There is practically no time for meditation, which complicates the task even more. However, these games develop in children such qualities as determination and dexterity.
Remind the children of one of the rules of the game: the cat is not allowed to cross the line. Emphasize that a clever and clever cat will try to catch as many mice as possible( that is, you need to touch more children running around, rather than grab one and drag it to your house).
With three-year-olds, the game can be played without catching, mice. These actions, as well as the role of the cat, are introduced as the children master the game.
One of the important moments of the game is the evaluation of the rules. When analyzing the behavior of mice and a cat together with children, tell them with leading questions all the errors and violations of rules, if any. In doing so, do not forget to encourage those who, clearly carried out.all the rules. The best performers of
roles can be awarded prizes for
. For the first time this game is better to be held in a room where children are less distracted. In the future, when the pupils master the rules of the game, it can be conducted on the site.
