How to make a topiary from napkins by one's own hands: a simple manufacture and a step-by-step master class for beginners

It would seem that it can be trivial and more familiar than a conventional napkin? However, she managed to establish herself as an integral attribute of design work. The extraordinary advantage of napkins is that they can play as a material that imparts density to products( for example, when making "barrels" of topiary - they can wrap a wire), and the role of one of the decor elements( they can be glued to the surface, for example, bottles or caskets). In addition, if the work does not ask, you will not feel the burning regret over the money spent, because the price of napkins does not bite, unlike many professional materials for design.

Already burning desire to try this wonderful material? Then you definitely need our master class to create a topiary of napkins( "Tree of Happiness").You can do it even with the child, because it does not require huge efforts, but it will be both interesting and fun.

This master class will be provided with photographs in order to demonstrate a clear example.

    We will need:

    • The simplest cheap single-use paper napkins.
    • Scissors.
    • Knitting needles.
    • Thread reel.
    • Glue "Titan" or glue gun.
    • Corrugated paper.
    • Wand.
    • A jar from under the cream or a cap from the hairspray.
    • Rosettes from napkins.

    Procedure:

    1. Cut the paper napkin into squares.

    2. We wind the napkin with a rolling motion on the spoke.

    3. Do not screw the napkin to about 3-4 cm.

    4. We squeeze the napkin on both sides and then pull out the needle.

    5. We twist our napkin in the test.

    6. To the shell we add several petals of the same type.

    7. The free edge is wound with a thread and cut off the bottom.

    8. We make leaves from corrugated paper. Fold 2 squares obliquely and tie them down.

    9. From paper or newspaper, we crumble the ball, wrap it with threads - this is the base of the crown. On it glue "Titan" or glue gun( so it will be better and easier, just do not burn!) Glue roses, and then between them we put leaves. In any jar or cap we fix the wand - in plasticine, and it is better in gypsum. When it stiffens, we wrap the upper end of the stick with a ribbon, a string, etc., and string our ball with roses on it. The jar is adorned at will and opportunity.

That's the beauty that came out. And this beauty will go anywhere: to the kitchen where the napkins lay recently, to the room near the TV or computer, to the table in the hall. You can enumerate endlessly. And if you sprinkle with spirits this gentle and pleasant topiary, then he certainly will not be equal.
