    First of all we need to prepare modules for the future ship. As a preform for triangles, I used 4 x 6 cm paper. As for the color decision of the ship, it remains only at your discretion. In the first couple, in order not to get confused in the scheme, you can use the same colors as me.

    Step-by-step master class

    In the technique of a modular origami ship, we begin with the construction of three rows of bases. In each row we should have 47 red modules:

    After the rows are closed in a ring, give the figure a little oval shape and turn the workpiece over. Starting with the 4th row, we can gradually increase the number of modules. To do this, in 4 base places( from the sides of the future stern and nose of the ship) we will need to dress not 1, but 2 modules:

    Now go to the design of the stern. We insert modules in the same way as on the sides of the ship, i.e.between the corners of the previous row. The long base must be outward.

    For decor on the stern, you can make a small side of the modules in contrasting colors. To do this, you need to insert a module in each 2 neighboring triangle pockets( with the poke up):

    Now we are going to form the nose of the ship. To do this, we define an extreme point of the nose and start symmetrical addition of modules. In the 11th row we must have 9 elements, in 12 - 6, and in the 13th row - only 3 corners. Continue the design of the nose edging of 22 modules contrast

Starting with the 12th row, we do a reduction, ie we remove 1 module from each side of the sail. We subtract to the 16th row, in which we must have 12 modules, located a short base outward. The ready sail is slightly bent, giving it a more realistic shape:

    As a mast, a wooden scoop is 20 cm long. It is best to glue it with a strip of paper in tone with the bottom of the ship. The mast needs to be inserted between the modules in the bottom of the ship. We got this kind of design:

    Then we attach the sail to the mast. Note that the sail must rest on the ship's side, so try to find a more stable position. If the construction is not very stable, then use transparent glue to fix it.
