How to sew a cover for a tablet from a skin?

Step by step instructions:

Put your tablet on the center of the piece of leather. Circle your device along the contour, leaving allowances on the sides 2-3 cm. Since our cover will be in the form of an envelope, our part should be equal to 1 length and 2.5 width of the device.

Fold the part and fix the side edges with the clamps

Now you need to sew the side parts of the cover by using a sturdy sewing needle or perform this action manually.

Fix the ends of the threads manually to avoid opening joints.

On the back of the case in the middle, make a small loop, which will serve as a clamp for the straps of the case:

For work we need:

• Old jeans
• Centimeter tape
• Chalk
• Sewing machine
• Velcro
• Label from jeans

Work progress:

Cut one leg from jeans. We leave the width of the cover to the same leg, so as not to spoil the original side seams, and the length of the cover will be equal to the length of the tablet plus a small smell on the valve. It is advisable to measure the length of the cover from the bottom of the leg.

Sew the bottom of the case on the typewriter. It turns out the following:

Now we will be an old label from jeans, we sew one half of the Velcro to its back, and on the cover itself the second half of the Velcro. This will be our clasp:
