Master-class of making elephant

It is known that it is best to learn a new kind of needlework from simple. Today we will sew a doll of Tilda - a cute elephant, which, nevertheless, is sewn quite simply.

So, this master class suggests using such materials and tools:

• fleece - blue and white;
• threads are also blue and white;
• filler - we have this sintepon;
• ready eyes;
• pins, scissors, needles;
• sheet A3, a pencil or a piece of soap, or chalk.

1. First of all, we need to draw a pattern of our elephant. We do this with a pencil on a sheet of paper A3.Experiment with the dimensions. First we make sketches, then cut out the finished pattern.

2. Now the pattern needs to be transferred to the fabric. We apply it to the cut of the blue fleece, we draw a pencil, soap or chalk. We turn the pattern around and make the second such detail.

3. Cut from the fabric of an elephant, given the allowance for seams. Of the blue fabric, we make two parts of the tail, two - the ears, and from the white - we cut out three clouds.

4. We start to work with the front side. We sweep and prepare for sewing details of the tail and ears of the elephant, we take the clouds.

5. Inside the obverse side we take ears and tail, from the top - the front side should be inside - we take the elephant part.

6. You can sew both manually and on a sewing machine. Be sure to follow the smoothness of the seam, because fleece can stretch, which will affect the accuracy of the line. Until the end is not sewn, we turn out to be obvious. Seams need to be checked for strength.

7. Fill the toy with a filler, beginning with the trunk. We tightly fill the sintepon, pay special attention to the formation of the feet.

8. The hole through which the elephant was stuffed is sewn with a hidden seam.

9. Glue the elephant eyes.
