Compliance with this diet suggests that the food you consume contains the necessary amount of nutrients your body needs. Therefore, a variety of food is simply necessary in order to obtain the maximum of nutrients. Dietary pyramid gives you the opportunity to choose the necessary products. The system assumes that during the day you eat 12 to 13 different types of foods. Of course, one should not forget that excessive consumption of food is harmful. Portions of products included in the daily diet are usually around 100 g. This does not include liquids that you drink. Every day you should eat three times a day and do not eat other meals in intervals. The breakfast can consist of oatmeal or corn flakes, which contain a lot of nutrients and low-fat milk. In addition, such a breakfast gives your body the necessary amount of vitamins and minerals. During the day you should also drink at least two liters of liquid.
However, you can continue to eat the food that you like. The success of the transition to a healthy diet depends on the gradual transition. Too sharp changes, as a rule, are short-lived. At the initial stage, you should continue to eat as usual, but at the same time try to reduce the amount of food you eat. And this restriction must apply to all types of foods that you eat.
