From what and how the topiary

Most often it is made in the form of a ball, but there are other options. The base can be a foam ball or simply a large amount of crumpled paper, fixed with adhesive tape or other suitable method.

This can be a wire decorated with some kind of fabric or other suitable material. You can also use a conventional branch or, for example, Chinese sticks, fixed together and draped.

Let's move to the most interesting - the crown. The creation of this part of the design makes it possible to fool around fantasies. Materials for the crown can be very diverse. Starting from improvised, for example, macaroni, and ending with a polymer clay.

The last composite topiary is a stand. Here, too, everything depends on the imagination, there are many options. Any capacity: a bucket, a flower pot or a nice mug - everything will work. The main thing is to take into account the weight and shape of the product so that it does not fall.

The scheme of work for creating a topiary poppy consists of 4 stages. Consider everything in order.

1. First of all, we need to prepare the basis for the crown. As already mentioned above, it can be a foam ball.

But if there is no such material, then you can use several other options. For example, an ordinary newspaper is quite suitable.

You can also use the method that is used in "papier-mache".The main thing, do not forget to leave at the base a hole, suitable for the size of the future trunk.

2. The base is ready, now you need to paint it. To do this, you can use paint from the can or acrylic. Allow the substrate to dry.

3. Now you need to paste the pasta to the base. This is done with a thermo-pistol( a special tool, in which there are glue rods, when the apparatus is turned on, the rods melt and turn into hot glue).

First you need to glue the material to the top of the ball, then turn it upside down and do the same with the remaining half.

After two minutes, you can start painting the crown. Color is determined by the basic idea of ​​the craft. For example, metallic shades look great. Thanks to them, the topiary looks like a silver or gold dandelion, like here:

4. The last stage is making a stand. As already mentioned, this detail can be from any suitable container, into which, most often, the gypsum is poured, and a ready-made topiary is inserted.

The trunk can either be painted in the tone of the crown, or wrapped with a suitable cloth, paper. You can also just walk on it with stain.

There should be no problems with the stand either. Inside the material holding the topiary, you can lay moss, glass pebbles, shells. Any decorative material, which corresponds to the subject of the product, will do. The capacity itself can also be revived with paint and various ornaments.
