Standard measurements

• Waist circumference = 38 cm;
• Semicircumference of hips = 52 cm;
• The length of the skirt is 70 cm;
• Waist gain = 2 cm;
• Hip increment = 4 cm

After removing the measurements, you need to determine how many folds will be on the skirt. This is done by the formula:( half-hip thigh + hip increment) / distance between folds( PMC) * 2.

PMC will be equal to the width of the fold itself. In this case, the distance will be 8 cm.

Now you need to determine the depth of the fold along the hip line. It will be: РМС * 2 = 16 cm.

Now you need to multiply the number of folds by the depth = 224 cm.

For a fabric width of 140 cm, add to the 12 cm hemline.

Now calculate the desired fabric length: 224 +( 14 * 8) + 6 = 342 cm.

The lining of the coquette needs to be cut according to the basic details.

The skirt will look more original if you insert a zipper on the entire length of the cut. In this case, the front part will consist of 2 parts: the right one - the large one and the left one - the smaller one.

Tailoring

• The coquette usually starts from the waist.
• Duplicate obtachki with adhesive tape;
• If necessary, duplicate the rear and front coquette;
• Identify the folds on the panels and pin them;
• Stitch the right side seam of the coquettes;
• Stitch the right side seam of panels;
• Pritat to the coquette to the cloth;
• Stitch the left seam until the zipper starts;
• Clasp stitch;
• Belt or obtachka to process the upper section of the skirt;
• Process the bottom of the skirt.
