Youth and apples: a fairy tale or byl?

There are many fabulous ways to preserve health and youth. Since ancient times, people sincerely wanted to find the means for eternal youth, which was embodied in the magic methods of rejuvenation.

He did not dare to deny his father only the younger son of Puru, who gave his parent his youth. The lord lived a thousand years young, and then returned to his son this precious gift with the kingdom in addition.
The most popular means of fabulous disposal of old age are the apples. Ancient Greek goddess Hera, the wife of Zeus the Thunderer, received them as a wedding gift from Gaia - the goddess of the Earth. Wonderful apple trees grew in an amazing garden, strictly guarded by the fire-breathing dragon of Lada and the daughters of the goddess Nights by the nymphs of the Hesperides.
It is known that one of the exploits of Hercules is precisely devoted to the abduction of three juvenile apples. The Scandinavians borrowed the apples in their legends from ancient Greek myths. I must say that the gods of Hellas, these magic fruits are not popular. Olympians immortality was supported by miraculous nectar.
Of course, in the real world, apples can not provide eternal youth, but their daily use of them will certainly add to your health.
