    Cap for the boy crochet: knitting pattern

    To please your baby with cute and cozy new clothes you want every mother. But to find something that is suitable for your child is sometimes an impossible task. I found a way out of the situation, when in the stores well, there is absolutely no quality clothing. For example, I knit hats for my little son myself. Usually I knit them with knitting needles, but I wanted to experiment a little and, inspired by this model, decided that there would be a cap for the boy crocheted.

    The model of this cap is quite simple, even those who hold the hook for the first time will cope with it. The pattern of the cap is so universal that it can turn out not only the autumn cap for the boy crochet, but even the summer one. Everything will depend on the thread for knitting and the density of the pattern. For the summer cap cotton or linen yarn is suitable, but for autumn and winter soft wool with acrylic or without it.

    Due to the approaching cold weather, I have a winter cap for the boy in the plans: the scheme is very simple - the columns without the crochet. But due to the different colors of the yarn and visor, the cap will look very original.

    For the work we will need:

    • Yarn( 50 gr - 133 m, three colors);
    • Hook # 4;
    • Scissors.

    The following abbreviations will be used in the work:

    • RLS - column without crochet;
    • VP - air loop;
    • CC - connecting post;
    • increase - 2 sc in one loop.

    Progress of work:

    1 r.: The chain of 2 VPs is closed in a ring with the help of SS.And in this ring tie 7СБН.

    2 r.: We make an increase 7 times. We got 14 loops.

    3 r.: Addition, 1 RTS.Repeat repeat to the end of the circle. Now we have 21 RLS.

    4 r.: Addition, 2 sc. Repeat until the end of the series = 28 SCN

    We continue to make increases, increasing the number of columns between them. In the 8th row we should have 56 RLS.And the diameter of the circle is about 10 cm.

    Beginning with the 9th row, we make increments through 1 row:

    9 r. We send 1 RLS to each loop = 56 loops

    10 r.: Addition, 7 RLS.Repeat the rapport until the end of the circle. It turned out 63 loops.

    So we knit another 4 rows. And in the 14th row we should have 77 scs. The diameter of the future cap is 16.5 cm.

    After the 14th row, we knit 1 RLS into each loop without adding to the desired length of the cap, keeping 77 loops. You should get 33 rows with 77 loops.

    In the course of knitting alternate the color of the yarns at your discretion. Do not cut the thread.

    Now go to the formation of the cap visor thread from another skein. Mark the cap on the cap with a contrasting thread the place of the beginning and the end of the future visor.

    The visor is knitted with the front and back rows:

    1 r.: The front row from the beginning to the end of the visor to 1 RH in each loop, along the edges making an addition( +2 sc).We turn knitting.

    2 r.: We use the SS to knit the SS, grabbing only one half of the loops of the previous row. Turn knitting again.

    3 r.: Again the front row. We knit the RLS, grasping the loops from the 1st row of the visor.

    4 r.: Repeat as in the 2nd row.

    5 r.: We knit the RLS, capturing the loops from the 3rd row, while at the same time we add even 2 RLS.

    6p.: Again we knit similarly to the 2nd row. Continue knitting to the required length of the visor itself.

    The removal of the visor in this way gives it rigidity and keeps the shape without starching.

    Another important point when knitting a visor: to get the bevels along the edges of the visor, it is necessary not to tie one RLS at the beginning and end of each row. It turns out that at the beginning of the series we do not bind the VP, but start immediately with the RLS.At the end of the same row, we sew 2 loops together according to the scheme:

    After the visor is connected, it must be tied in 1 row to form the edge. We tie the visor with a thread that remained after knitting the base of the cap.

    Our hat is ready. Using this description, you can try to make different children's knitted caps for boys.
