Water compresses
Compress as a therapeutic way of using water in folk and official medicine has been known since ancient times. In our view, the compress is a moist piece of gauze moistened in an aqueous solution( usually with the addition of alcohol) and superimposed on the throat, a bruise on the leg or arm, etc. But Sebastian Kneipp and his followers suggested making water compresses for moreextensive body parts.
