There are three methods of pricking - straight, horizontal and inclined. Perhaps the greatest feeling of discomfort, the patient feels when performing an acupuncture procedure in the leg area. Here there is a feeling of an electric charge running through the whole body. There are also cases when the patient felt cold or warmth, heaviness or aches - such a palette of sensations depends only on the characteristics of each individual organism.

Sensations appear only when the procedure is done, as it is necessary, that is, according to all the rules. Even ancient doctors noticed that only with the appearance of any sensations in the process of acupuncture, a positive result of treatment will not take long. If, however, using acupuncture treatment, the presence of sensations has not been achieved, try the following:

• Note the patient's sensations when you start to rotate the needle, if previously it was immovable and vice versa;
• Try to insert the needle into the skin immediately after you first slightly pull it out of the skin. Turn the needle each time clockwise or counterclockwise, and always return it after each circle to its original position. Gradually increase the speed of the needle, but do not press or dive deeper. Then, after a couple of minutes, gently holding the skin area, with the stuck needle, with your finger, pull the needle out sharply;
• If it is difficult for you to determine the location of a biologically active point, sometimes dotted point search is allowed. The needle is not completely pulled out of the skin, and is injected again, but in a different direction. Repeats of such an operation are allowed until the correct points are found, and sensations are not reached;
• Sometimes there are times when the needle is in the immediate vicinity of the desired point, but it lacks a few millimeters to the desired point. Here, a slight tapping( a kind of a click) on the head of the needle is allowed even when the needle is in the skin at the right depth.

After the successful completion of the procedure, you can safely proceed to pull out the needle. However, it should be noted that, as in the situation with the introduction of the needle, and with its derivation, there are various ways. You can output the needle in the same way as the input - by slow rotation in the opposite direction. It can also be a stepped output when the tool is pulled out for a couple of millimeters and stops for a few seconds, then the operation continues until the needle is completely removed from the skin. When the needle is inserted in a direct way, that is perpendicular to the injection site, a rapid withdrawal is allowed, but the skin in the area of ​​needle removal should be held.
