The number of people with cardiovascular diseases is growing every year, and this is one of the reasons for the overall high mortality rate of the population. According to statistics, mortality from diseases of the circulatory system firmly ranks first among all other diseases. The second place is firmly held by oncological diseases.

It is for this reason that the prevention of heart disease is very important."Any disease is easier to prevent than treat," - so in due time said the largest Russian clinician M. Ya. Mudrov( 1776-1831).Each person should constantly take care of his health, take precautionary measures to ensure that all organs and systems of his body are in optimal conditions, they receive adequate and adequate nutrition and are not poisoned by artificial additives to food, alcohol and nicotine.

In the prevention of cardiovascular disease, proper nutrition is one of the main factors. And not the problem of malnutrition is now on the first place in the emergence of many diseases, and overeating. In our time, if a person comes back from a sanatorium or a rest home, he is first of all asked not "how much you recovered", but "how much you lost weight".Today almost every person consumes too much food, and its high caloric content causes real alarm. After many years of research, scientists and nutritionists came to the unanimous opinion that the main cause of heart disease is eating a large number of foods that are rich in cholesterol, which is found in animal fats. The experience of vegetarianism proves this. It has long been known that cholesterol, contained in meat products, is deposited on the walls of blood vessels, reduces blood flow and increases the burden on the heart, which often leads to irreparable consequences. Imagine a water pipe. If the pipe is still new, the amount of water flowing through it will be much greater than the amount of water flowing through the pipe, which was used for 5-10 years. Why? Yes, because on the walls of the old pipe over time, salt, rust and various impurities are constantly deposited. As a result, the lumen of the pipe decreases, and the amount of water passing through it is the same. The same phenomenon we see in the vessels. The body receives less blood, and therefore less nutrients. In addition, with reduced blood flow, the purifying ability of the blood decreases, and the degradation products are not completely removed from the cell. And all this leads to the development of various diseases.

Many tribes living in Africa do not know what heart disease is, because their food contains less than 20% of calories from fats, in contrast to 40% of representatives of civilized countries. It is noted that the higher the welfare of a people, the greater the risk of mortality from cardiovascular diseases. This is explained by the fact that in highly civilized countries a large number of foods with a high content of protein, cyanocobalamin and pasteurized dairy products are consumed. That is why in countries such as the USA, Finland, Russia, Australia, Canada, there is a large number of thromboses and a high mortality rate from atherosclerosis.

In the old days, when people worked hard for their own food, there was no health problem. The modern person in incredible quantities absorbs meat food, processed products of dairy products, fats and carbohydrates, and constant overeating increases the risk of early development of atherosclerosis.

A person who is obese can at any moment go to a different world - and not because his heart refuses. The main culprit in this case will be the gases in the intestines that impede blood circulation. Well, if blood circulation is disturbed, the heart can stop at any moment.

Another important cause of cardiovascular disease is stress. In our troubled times the word "stress" is associated with the word "life".From the stress of drugs does not exist. After all, most often a stressful condition is a reaction of the body to an external stimulus. And a person does not live in a vacuum. He is surrounded by exactly the same people, each of whom has his own opinion and achieves something in life. The interests of people often intersect, causing them negative reactions and stressful conditions.

The third cause of cardiovascular disease is bad habits. People, systematically consume large amounts of coffee and alcohol, abuse tobacco. Scientists have long known that coffee and alcohol destroy the digestive system, and coffee, among other things, also causes increased excitability, nervousness and memory impairment.

And, finally, the fourth, very important cause of heart disease is a sedentary lifestyle. A person is afraid to walk once more, go down the stairs, go on a walking tour. Cars, elevators, even second phones in the house pamper the body, deprive the person of the opportunity to make excess traffic. But "the movement is life," as the ancients used to say.

Most adults on the planet suffer from cardiovascular diseases. A person older than 30 years is difficult to get running a hundred-meter or 5 kilometers, and if you force it to do an office worker or a modern businessman, then he will fall dead already on the first ten meters. It is this state of health that is characteristic of modern man. And the further we move away from Mother Nature, the worse will be our health, the less will be the average length of human life.
