Treatment of myocarditis with folk remedies and methods
Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle. This inflammation can be infectious, infectious-toxic or allergic.
At the heart of any myocarditis lies the infectious beginning. Among the diseases that cause myocarditis, rheumatism comes first, followed by sepsis, diphtheria and typhus. Recently, new forms of myocarditis, caused by viruses, have appeared.
Noninfectious forms of myocarditis arise when exposed to foreign protein. So, myocarditis can occur after taking sulfanilamide drugs or the introduction of serum, provided that the body is sensitized against these drugs, that is, when they act as allergens. More details about the symptoms of this disease look here.
The clinical picture of myocarditis largely depends on the form of the disease. Sometimes the symptoms of breach of myocardial contractility and the syndrome of cardiovascular insufficiency come to the fore. Patients are concerned about shortness of breath, stagnant cough, swelling. The face of such patients is faceted, has a cyanotic appearance, a pulse of small filling and is much more frequent. In severe forms, very severe arrhythmias are observed( a three-term rhythm or "gallop rhythm" may occur).
If the inflammation has captured a small part of the heart muscle, then the violations of the contractility of the heart are weak and sometimes absent, and the conduction disturbances come to the fore - atrial fibrillation, tachycardia.
Arterial pressure in myocarditis in patients is usually reduced, as well as venous, so such patients are prone to a sharp drop in pressure, then they will collapse.
Of all types of myocarditis, it is necessary to dwell on its most frequent form-rheumatic myocarditis.
Rheumatic myocarditis is always a consequence of a previous rheumatic attack. This form is relatively rarely accompanied by cardiovascular failure. The main complaint of patients are pain in the heart. Pain is usually prolonged, occurs periodically and increases with physical activity. They do not give such a picture, what happens with angina pectoris, but they are stupid and permanent.
Rheumatic myocarditis occurs with a disturbance of rhythm and conductivity. Cardiovascular failure occurs only in the most neglected cases.
Myocarditis can develop not only after rheumatism, but also after diphtheria, influenza and other infectious diseases. The main complaints of patients with myocarditis are weakness, shortness of breath, pain in the heart. With myocarditis, tachycardia, low blood pressure, vasodilatation are observed. Myocarditis usually has a chronic form and can cause destruction of muscle fibers and development of cardiosclerosis. When detecting myocarditis, you must follow a diet, reduce to a minimum the intake of food, which increases the level of cholesterol, strict bed rest is required.
