Great post 2015( February 23 - April 11)
- The post in the first and passionate week is observed with special severity.
- On a net Monday, total abstinence from food is accepted.
- The rest of the time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - dryness( water, bread, fruits, vegetables, compotes);
- Tuesday, Thursday - hot food without butter;
- Saturday, Sunday - food with vegetable oil.
- Fish are allowed in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary( April 7) and on Palm Sunday( 2015, April 5).
- Fish eggs are allowed on Lazarev Saturday( 2015, April 4).
- On Good Friday( 2015, April 10) you can not eat food until the shroud is removed.
Petrov Post( Apostolic) 2015( June 8 - July 11)
- Strict post( dry weather) on Wednesday and Friday.
- On Monday, you can have hot food without butter.
- Other days - fish, mushrooms, cereals with vegetable oil.
Assumption Post 2015( August 14 - August 27)
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday are dry.
- Tuesday, Thursday - hot food without butter.
- On Saturday and Sunday, food with vegetable oil is allowed.
- On the day of the Transfiguration( August 19), fish are allowed.
- Fish day in the Assumption, if it is on Wednesday or Friday.
Christmas Post 2015( November 28 - January 6)
- If the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary falls on Wednesday or Friday, then fish are allowed.
- After the day of the memory of St. Nicholas and before the pre-Christmas celebration, fish are allowed on Saturday and Sunday.
- You can not eat fish in pre-festivity all the days.
- Food and butter are used on Saturday and Sunday.
- On Christmas Eve, you can not eat food until the appearance of the first star, after which it is customary to eat ovo-cooked wheat grains or boiled rice with raisins.
