How to stretch shoes at home using ice and frost
To do this, pour water in plastic bags, tightly tie them and put them inside the shoes. Then the shoes are placed in the freezer or on the balcony, if it's very cold outside. Wait until the water completely freezes, thanks to this, the shoes will quickly stretch and take a shape that is convenient for you. Unfortunately, genuine leather shoes can crack after this procedure, so it's better not to experiment.
How to stretch shoes with heat
Wear uncomfortable shoes on a thick woolen socks, and then warm up your shoes with a hair dryer at high power until you feel the heat. Once the shoes and socks are warm, you need to carry them - walk around the apartment as long as possible until they cool down. You can not carry out this procedure with shoes from the skin, as it can crack and become unusable.
"Grandfather's methods" of stretching shoes
Put as many wet papers as possible in the shoes, and then wait until it completely dries. Get out the newspaper and check if the shoes are stretched to a size you like. There is another way that you need to be very careful. Pour 100 milliliters of boiled water into the shoes and after a few seconds pour out, and then put on and walk around the apartment at a slow and fast pace.
"Cowboy" way is also very relevant, just add a lot of whole grain in the shoes, fill the right amount of water, and then leave for 12 hours. In the morning you will see that the grain is swollen. Take out all the grain from the shoes and put it on, and then wear it until it completely dries. But this method is also unsafe, since walking in wet shoes is not recommended, so do not wear shoes for more than 30-60 minutes.
Do not take risks if you are going to stretch suede or leather shoes. It can crack, become covered with white spots, burst and so on. It will be even more offensive if shoes are very expensive. Better save the check and exchange shoes if you have purchased it recently. Also, do not forget that suede and leather shoes become firmer after getting under water.
Alcohol will help you stretch your shoes well!
Take cologne, water and alcohol in equal proportions and mix. Next, wipe this mixture with uncomfortable shoes outside and inside. Do not get carried away by rubbing the outside, you need only to process the toughest places. Most of the means for stretching shoes contain alcohol, but in different proportions, so this method is very effective. But get involved in rubbing alcohol is not worth it: the paint will start to crack and dry, the color of the shoes will change, cracks and so on can appear. Thus, it is possible to process winter boots, but extremely accurately.
Oil, vinegar, paraffin, too, will help us!
If you have not worn shoes for a long time, you can use vegetable or castor oil. Vaseline can also be used for stretching. Just like with alcohol, treat the shoes, and then walk around it in the apartment. After one or two hours you need to wash the oil, be sure to thoroughly clean the shoes. The method is harmless to the natural skin, you can also treat artificial skin. Sometimes leather shoes creak during walking, smear the sole with a thin layer of castor oil, and when it dries, the creak disappears.
To increase the size of shoes, you can wipe it with a 3% vinegar solution, of course, inside. But do not risk and do not wipe the outer part of the shoes, because the vinegar is as aggressive chemical substance as alcohol.
The most gentle method is wiping with paraffin. Rub a candle on the inside of the shoe, and then leave it overnight, remove the paraffin in the morning. But this stretching will not help to expand the heel of the shoes, for this, the back part is treated with alcohol, and only after that rub with a thick layer of paraffin.
