Simple lambreken for the kitchen

This option can be done for a window that does not need curtains. And that it was not naked, it is decorated with a simple drapery.

Materials

• fabric for base;
• material for lining or interlining;
• curtain;
• cord 1 m;
• hammer, nails;
• drill;
• screwdriver, screws, nuts.

Work progress

1. Attach the curtain 10 cm above the opening of the window, retreating 10 cm from each end.
2. This lambrequin can be made in length up to half the window. The calculation of the fabric includes the size of the hanging part + 10 cm from the sides and from above, made for indentations + allowances for seams of 1.5 cm. That is, for a 50 cm cornice, 73 cm of fabric is needed.
3. Same length to cut the cushioning and lining that are needed for stiffness. This will hold the folds.
4. Sweep or pinch all layers and lay a machine stitch, leaving 30 cm of top not stitched. Unscrew and close the hole.
5. Attach the cornice to the curtain first from the middle to the middle, then on the sides, leaving the hanging ends.
6. The hanging parts are tied with a cord, forming a neat fold.

How to work with the swing drawing

4 - length of the lower bend.

We go to the very pattern and build a swing.

• Construct an angle of 45 ⁰.To his right side draw a segment at a right angle, directed inward.
• On the segment, postpone the distance AA1, which is equal to half the measure 1.
• From A1 measure 9 cm and put the point A2.The segment A1A2 serves as an allowance for the seams.

• BV - measure 3 divided by 2.
• The BG segment is built parallel to AA1 and is equal to measure 4 divided by 2.
• Connect with straight line A2G.
• Points B and D connect the curve, as shown in the figure below.

Then cut according to the drawing. Make several identical folds along the line A2G.It will be facilitated by the formation of a stick, covered with cloth.
