Features of the game and its educational value. In the proposed game, children learn to distinguish color tones by comparing the sample with another object, and the difference in color tones is produced only by the eyes, at a distance. In this case, the child has to be distracted from other properties of the compared objects( for example, from the form).
The solution of this problem is of great importance for the child's mental development. In addition, in the process of playing, children learn to control their behavior: to restrain their desires, if necessary, to use volitional efforts to achieve the goal. They must act precisely on the verbal signal: to run no sooner than the command will be given.
The game is mobile. Movements unite children, give them pleasure, promote rapprochement and organization of the group.
The game is offered in two versions - story and competition.
Game material. For the game you need multi-colored flags( one for each color) and the same color circles( according to the number of children in the group).Mugs can be made from colored paper, pasted on cardboard, to make a hole in each of them a hole and pass a string into it. Mugs are worn like medallions over a coat( if the game is played on the street).
At the beginning of the year the game is played with the flags of the basic color tones. Then, instead of these already acquired colors, new ones are taken: brown, orange and other additional colors. Flags and circles must match exactly one another in a color tone. The reverse side of each cup is painted in a neutral color - gray or white. You also need a box to store this game material.
Houses( squares) are drawn on the floor or on the ground at such a distance that children, without distraction, can observe the actions of each other and participate in their evaluation.
Description of the game and its techniques. The plot version. The game is conducted with the entire group of children in a spacious room or on the site. To interest the children with the upcoming activity, you must first show them the game material and objects of new colors( orange, carrot, chocolate, brown mitten). The teacher, not revealing the meaning of these objects, places them in a conspicuous place and promises children to play with them in a new game. At an agreed time, children actively participate in the preparation for the game: along with the tutor they arrange chairs, move tables, help draw large squares( four houses) on the floor.
The teacher offers the children to sit on the stools, and he sits down in front of them for a table with cooked didactic materials. First, he shows flags of familiar colors to the children and suggests that they be called. Then the acquaintance with the new colors begins. You can do it this way. Picking up an orange, ask the children: "What is this?" All of course will guess that this is an orange."And what color is this orange?" - continues the educator and, if the children find it difficult to answer, says: "It is orange. Look, is there anything else on the table that is orange?(carrot, orange flag). "Then, in the same way, you get acquainted with a new, brown color( using a chocolate, a mitten, a brown flag).
"Now let's play," the educator suggests. Children stand in a circle. The adult, being in his middle, puts on each participant of the game a circle of some color. In this case, the child should name the color of his mug. The educator offers everyone to carefully look at the received circle, remember its color and turn to the other side. Explains the rule: "Do not touch the circle and do not open it until it is said;Search for your home! "
The adult chooses four children who are given different color tones on the flags( for example: one for red, another for blue, third for orange, and fourth for brown). Each of these children occupies a house( square)."These are the beautiful houses built in our city," says the educator. "And you have colorful mugs. It's an invitation to move into a new house of the same color as your circle. Let's collect things and move to new apartments! "
The teacher shows the various movements simulating the preparation for the move, and the children imitate him. For example, all amicably erase and clean clothes, fold it, load furniture onto an imaginary machine, sit in it themselves and go. Moving around the room( under the tambourine). At the signal "Come!" Everyone stops, and children, who have flags, pick them up so that different colors can be seen.
"Look for your home!" - says the tutor and asks the children to recall the color of their mugs, turn them over, look at them and look for flags of appropriate colors with their eyes. Children quickly take up places in the houses and greet their neighbors. The teacher comes into each house and together with the owners of the flags checks whether everyone has correctly found their home. The flag goes to the "new settlers" who take it and begin to walk around in a circle. Then the owners of the flags return to the houses, and the "new settlers", holding hands, cheerfully sing: "The new house, the new house, we shall all live together!"
The teacher invites the boys to exchange circles, and the game begins again. Its participants are offered a new version of the problem of color discrimination.
Competition variant. The beginning of the game is the same as in the story version. To the sound of the tambourine, the children go round one another in a circle or a snake. With the termination of the sound, they stop, close their eyes. Children standing in houses( squares), at the direction of the tutor, quietly swap places and pick up flags. At the signal "Look for your home!" Children open their eyes, compare their mugs in color with flags and quickly take up space in the houses. Who was the first to find his home( this is determined by the teacher with the children holding the flags), is awarded with applause and becomes close to the tutor.
Rules of the game.
1. Carefully look at the color of the circle, and try to remember it, then find the flag of exactly the same color and take a place in the house.
2. Turn the circle to the other side and do not touch it again until the signal "Look for your home!" Is given.
3. You can not run into the house without a signal and until the checkbox of the desired color is found.
