How to make a flower from paper with your hands: lily, carnation and Japanese cherry

How to make a lily from paper

• Cardboard for creating a template.
• White paper for flowers.
• Wire for the formation of leaves and sticks to create stems.
• Ribbons: green satin, not very wide, and pink, from organza.
• Glue, scissors, markers and pencil.

First you need to make a template for lily petals, this requires a tight cardboard.

Take a sheet of white A4 paper and draw 30 petals on it using a template.

Place the wire between the two petals and glue them. The wire must be necessarily longer than the leaf. You should get 15 petals.

The turn of the stamens has come. To make them, take the wire and put a white bead or beads on its middle, fold it in half and twist it. As a result, you will get 15 stamens.

Fold the edge of the paper horizontally downwards by 2.5-3 cm.

Now stretch the paper along the entire length as shown in the photo.

Next, take the wire and start winding paper on it, in a spiral.

After the flower is ready, it needs to be fixed. This is done under the base with wire.

Now cut off all unnecessary, that is edges, diagonally.

We hide the wire and the base under the floral tape.

Cut out the square of the paper you need, the smaller it will be, the more elegant the flower will look. Fold the sheet horizontally and vertically.

Angles bend to the center so that the sides lie close to each other. Turn the workpiece over for the flower.

Again fold the figure in half twice, and then take the opposite corners and connect them in the center, and those that remain on the sides, tuck in.

The result is a double square. Put it with the opening corners up. Corners on the sides of the first layer, fold in the center and iron well.
