The most common symbol of any New Year is the good old Grandfather Frost.

This is exactly what we will try to make by ourselves

Necessary materials

Felt of white, beige and red colors, filler for toys, they can serve as holofayber, threads of the same key as felt, bells for a cap, lace, transparent glue, and, of course, scissors.

Let's get to work

From the printed pattern on the sheet A4, we cut out the details of the future Santa Claus, all of them with 2 pieces, we make a face in one copy. The obtained paper parts can be pinned to the felt with a pin, so that it would be more convenient to outline the contour, in this case, for convenience, it is better to fold the felt in half.

Let's start with the cap, for which we will circle its pattern with chalk on a red felt and cut out two details from felt.

Then we cut out the head and beard of Santa Claus, his mustache and edges for a cap made of white felt, also attaching a pattern to the fabric, all the details are made in duplicate.

Now we need a skinny thin felt, from which we will take the face of Santa Claus.

Cut out the face and try it on the head with a pin from the white felt. Picking up a suitable place for the face, glue it on the head with colorless glue.

Then we put the executed part on top of the second part of the head of the grandfather from white felt and start sewing them with large stitches from the white thread, leaving a little unplugged space for stuffing the head with filler.

We fill the holofiber with a toy through the hole left.

Let's go back to the hat.

Sew both parts of the cap, placing them on top of each other, with a red thread. But the bottom of the cap while you need to leave it free.

Also we sew the whiskers with a white thread with hand stitches, leaving space for filling them with filler.

Fill a small amount of holofayber and sew up the mustache to the end.

We select a place for the mustache on the face of Santa Claus and carefully sew them with white stitches.

Now lightly fill the hood with a hat and also carefully sew it on the base to the head of the toy.

There was fur left for the hat.

Sew both parts to the Santa Claus cap on either side of his head, also leaving space for filling it with holofayber. After filling, sew fur caps to the end. The cap is almost ready, the bells remained.

Sew it on the tip of the cap by hand stitches with a white thread, and also do not forget about the lace, which in future the toy will be suspended on the tree.

We sew it together with the bells.

The main part of the toy is ready. Now we will deal with the face of Santa Claus.

Needles mark the places reserved for the eyes, sew them and prepare the place for the spout.

Nose we will execute from a piece of a corporal felt, having cut out from it a small circle. In the circle, lay the hand stitches, pulling them lightly, put the sintepon inside and pull the ball tight.
