• rice paper

Instructions for decoupling glasses:

1. Cookingglasses for work: carefully washing them with a remedy, wipe it dry and rub it with alcohol to degrease the glass.

2. On the upper edge of the glass you need to paste the paint tape so that the varnish and other materials do not get on it.

3. Turn the top of the glass into a lapped rice paper( no more than 0.3 mm.). The excess paper on the stem and seam should be cut off.

4. Using water, we paste rice paper to the glass. Using a brush, smoothly smooth the paper in a glass. In a wet form, rice paper is very obedient.

5. Using a brush, apply the decoupage glue onto wet rice paper and let it dry.

6. Cut out the necessary part of the picture from the napkin, remove unnecessary layers.

7. The resulting cuts are sprayed with hairspray, leave to dry out and spray again, and so - 3 times. Such a technique will help us easily paste the napkin on the glass.

8. We put a napkin on a glass and from above we apply decoupage glue( from the center to the edges).Leave to dry.

9. We process the glass with vitreous lacquer. We leave to dry up.

10. Apply the crystal paste on the stem of the glass with a palette knife. Crystal paste - an excellent decorative element for glass products. It consists of a large number of small glass balls connected together.

11. We are waiting for the full drying of the paste and varnish, then with the help of a special paint on the stem of the glass you can paint pearls or, for example, paste crystals.

So, wedding decoupage of glasses with napkins is ready! It remains only to repeat this with a second glass.
