• Large albums

    These albums are very convenient because they can be used as an additional manual for teaching reading, as well as simply view pictures and expand the horizon of the baby, to systematize his knowledge. They are actively used for classes with children and the first two years of life, and older.

    Gradually, similar thematic albums begin to appear on the market. You can buy them and use it in whole or in part, choosing illustrations for your albums.

    If you are completely satisfied with the finished book-album, pay attention to the captions to the pictures. They should be clear, printed in large letters, preferably red or black. Most likely, you will have to execute the signatures yourself, by closing or covering up the printed version with a corrective tool.

    The first option. You will need magnetic photo albums in A4 format. In them, the cardboard pages are covered with a special sticky transparent film, which is peeled off, images and signatures are put under it and again sealed with the same film. You can peel and glue the film many times. They are very convenient because they make it easy to change pictures and signatures, cardboard pages do not crumple and do not come off. Such an album can be given to a child for self-examination.

    The second option is to use folders with a folder and transparent folders-pockets. Insert the picture in the "pocket" and attach the folder. This option is convenient because the number of inserted folders "pockets" is not limited, they can easily be swapped, add new ones, delete old ones, etc. Pictures and signatures are protected. The main folders and folders - "pockets" are inexpensive and there is in each stationery store. The minus of such albums is that the sheets in them are not very dense, so if the child does not know how to turn the pages neatly, it is not worthwhile to give it to the young reader, they will have to be shown.

    The third option is to use ready-made folders for documents with transparent pockets embedded in them. Albums are available for ten, twenty or more pages. It is best to buy ten pages, because it is difficult to find more pictures on one topic, and besides, the child can not look at too many illustrations yet.

    However, this version has a significant disadvantage - not very dense sheets, the inability to rearrange the pictures, without taking them out of the "pocket".

    Choose the option that you find most convenient and suitable to use.

    • any animals( domestic and wild), birds, fish.

    L. Danilova advises not to show babies at this age of insects, arachnids, amphibians and reptiles, as they are quite similar to each other and the kid will be bored. It is enough to illustrate one representative of each species;

    • garden flowers, wild plants.

    Choose pictures of plants from different families, so that their appearance is very different from each other. It is not recommended to show mushrooms at this age, as they are also quite monotonous;

    • vegetables, fruits, berries;

    • furniture;

    • utensils, household items,

    • photos of close people,

    • images of children( especially in action);

    • types of transport, but not car brands;

    • pictures on other topics( the main thing is that they are large, bright, understandable, interesting baby).

    Where can I find pictures?

    1. If you have access to the Internet, you can "download" a large number of thematic images from different sites and print on the printer. You can search using search engines, children's sites.

    2. Buy or search from friends disk drives, which have a huge selection of quality images. They also have to be printed on the printer.

    3. Cut out different magazines, calendars that you will find at home, from friends and relatives.

    4. Use inexpensive children's encyclopedias for the youngest with large-size pictures. This, of course, is a little expensive, since books have to be bought in duplicate to have images from both even and odd pages. If you have a scanner, the pictures can be scanned and then printed.

    5. Use pictures from the finished thematic lotto. There are a lot of such games on sale now, most of them are printed on good cardboard of different formats.

    In a word, if you wanted to make such albums, look for and use any options.

    If you chose the option with magnetic albums, put the album so that the pages are placed horizontally. Open the first one. Write on it, lifting the protective film, the name of your album and stick the film in place. On each subsequent spread( on the bottom page) write the words corresponding to your pictures, and on the top page - arrange pictures to them.

    If it is more convenient for you to use folders with "pockets", do all the same, just not gluing pictures and words, but simply inserting sheets with them into "pockets".

    Words can be written with felt-tip pens or typed on a computer( preferably Arial, large size, so that the word is placed without hyphenation on the page.) Type in capital letters only. The colors and their shades of Danilov suggests choosing at your discretion. Recall that Doman requires signing only in red.

    You can use a simpler version. On one sheet you place both a picture and a signature to it. Thus, on the spread you will have two pictures with signatures. When showing such an album, a child of up to a year will best demonstrate one picture, and turn the sheet with the second one. Later, the U-turn can be shown as a whole.

    To name albums is best simply, briefly and clearly. For example, Danilova advises writing the name

    . If you want to make the album readable from any end, the last sheet should have exactly the same inscription as on the first spread.

    is not "Wild Animals", but "Animals from the Forest", not "Kinds of Foods", but "Food".The same picture can get into different albums. For example, the chicken goes to "Pets", and to the album "Birds".

    If the child already knows how to sit himself, you can put him in a high armchair at a table or just on the floor. If the baby is not sitting, you can put it on your tummy or ask someone from the adults to sit down and hold on his lap. Not a bad option - a lounge chair in which the child can be reclining.

    Sit opposite. Tell the child what you are going to do. And start showing the pictures. To show it is necessary fast enough, but so that the child could see, that you show it.

    Does not the kid look? First, change the album, try to show one picture before eating. If this does not interest your child, break it for the time of the lesson.

    If the child requires to watch more and more, show. But for yourself, remember that children can ask endlessly. Therefore, it is best to honestly warn that you will show, but only once.

    Unobtrusive, pay attention to the child's words. Just slide your finger along the word, name it. Next - show the picture.

    You can watch albums one-two or more times a day, as long as it brings pleasure to the kid and you. If the albums are not very attractive to the child, show them every two days.

    Be attentive to the child. If you notice that the child is no longer with such interest, as before, watching the albums, means, or urgently change the pictures or even stop watching.
