    An annual herbaceous plant with a branchy recumbent, raised stem or straight geniculate stalk. Leaves are small, elliptical, lanceolate or linear. Flowers of 3-5 pieces in the axils of leaves, pink or greenish with whitish, and at the edges of reddish perianth. Fruits - matte, point-lumpy nuts. Blossoms from May to August. It grows in roads, in waste places, in fields almost everywhere in the temperate and warm strip of Russia.
