How to develop analytical thinking, intuitive and logical style of the brain
Analytical thinking is the ability of a person to logically analyze what is happening and give in to his cold sensible criticism. If a person really knows how to use his brain in this direction, then one day he will certainly achieve success in his favorite business and will never fail. But does everyone have analytical thinking? Of course not. However, there are rudiments of it all, and if they are properly developed, it is possible to obtain the desired result. And how to develop analytical thinking without knowledge of psychology and psychoanalysis?
Stages of the development of logical thinking
First you need to set the goal ahead. Think about why you need such a mindset: admission to a new job, career growth, etc. If you do not know why you need an analytical style of thinking, then very soon the desire to acquire it will fade.
You will need at least an hour a day of completely free time, when you have nowhere to rush and no one asks for anything.
- Think of a situation that is familiar to you, in which something unexpected happened. For example, you came to work in the morning and, laying out papers, realized that you forgot an important report at home, the plan. Or easier: during lunch your clumsy employee accidentally spilled coffee and now you have on your jacket a large ugly stain;
- First, sensibly analyze the possible situation in your head, suggest ways to solve it yourself. You can record what's happening in your head. Choose several solutions to the problem, do not rush;
- To make it easier for you to ask yourself leading questions: why it happened, where I left this or that thing, how much I still have free time, how much to go to a place, how the boss / colleagues / friends will react, etc.;
- From all points of view, analyze all the options, choose the one that seems to you the most simple and rational. Justify yourself why you chose this option, find its pros and cons compared to others. Perhaps you change your mind
To develop analytical logical thinking in this way is the easiest. During the day, think up other simple situations and also analyze, choosing the appropriate way to solve it. Over time, come up with more complex and confusing situations, not just work or home. You yourself will not notice how one day you will offer the boss the best way to solve the problem.
Differences of the analytical from other types of thinking
Everyone knows that the analytical mindset is not unique in its kind. There are a great many types of thinking, some of them are classified as discursive - a sound and clear reasoning based on logic, not on sensuality. And some to intuitive - sensory perception of the situation, and thinking is based on it. And how to distinguish between intuitive and analytical thinking?
If a person uses analytical thinking and is strong in this, then he can tell the whole chain of events - from getting some task to solving it, and so can everyone who owns this mindset, and those who listen to the story perfectly understand why, why, and how.
But it is impossible to trace the course of thought of intuitive thinking. A person is laying an invisible thread from getting the task before solving it, and how he came up with the task to solve and solve a particular problem is difficult to explain. Hence the notion of intuition, when a person simply feels that it is necessary to do so and so. In fact, this type of thinking occurs much more often than the analytical store of thinking.
