Features of the game and its educational value. This game is aimed at developing the children's verbal memory. As you know, memorizing words makes it more difficult for a child to remember things. Because of the specificity of children's thinking, it is difficult for a child to remember the word he has heard without contact with its subject content. This requires special efforts. This game just creates conditions that, on the one hand, teach you to make such efforts, and on the other - facilitate them. The support for a purposeful and meaningful memorization of words in this game are subject pictures and game communication with the educator.
The game is plot-oriented. The educator assumes the role of mother, who gives his children( assistants) the commission - to remember and bring what is needed for the house. Such a plot is very close to the everyday experience of children and satisfies their need for communication with adults. It ensures the emotional inclusion of children in the game, encourages conditional game actions. It is also important that the adult lists not individual, disjointed objects, but objects united by a common game sense.
A meaningful and purposeful memorization of words prepares children for successful meaningful memorization of adult verbal instructions. And this is very important for teaching children in class and for their further life.
Play stuff. Subject pictures that are selected from different board games: "Lotto in four languages", "Pictures to kids", "Botanical summer", etc. Pictures can depict a variety of subjects, for example: fruits, vegetables, toys, flowers, clothes, dishes andetc. Pictures should be selected in sets consisting of three or four similar items. The number of such sets should correspond to the number of participants in the game. It is desirable to have several sets in stock for varying orders.
The game material is stored in a box with special compartments for different groups of pictures.

Then he shows them to all the children, and they, together with the tutor, assess whether the errand has been fulfilled correctly: did he bring everything, did not he mix anything up. During the game, mother instructs her children to bring a variety of subjects( three or four kinds), each time explaining their purpose. For example: you need to buy toys for children( a typewriter, a doll, a bear, a ball) or dishes to cover a table( a cup, a teapot, a sugar bowl), a vase with flowers for beauty or to bring what is needed for cleaning in a room( a broom, a scoop, a bucketwith water).
Gradually, with the repetition of the game, you can expand the number of memorized words( up to five) and enrich the content of established links, for example, a soup is added to the vegetables for soup, there can be a comb or a brush for cleaning clothes, fruit can be added with a jug of waterto wash them), etc.
The fulfillment of all assignments is assessed by the tutor and children. The brought pictures are used in imaginary play actions - children pretend to cook soup, eat fruit, play with toys, dress for a walk, etc.
Rules of the game.
1. Do mother's errand on your own, do not confuse and forget.
2. Not allowed.
3. If someone did not complete the assignment and forgot to bring something, the children remind him and he goes again for the missing item.
Tips for the educator. All subject pictures should be familiar to children and easily recognizable. Arrange them in advance on the tables in rows, at a distance from each other, to facilitate the children's discernment and choice( pictures serve as a support for remembering, named words).
Given the complexity of remembering words for young children, this game should be the last one, when children have already learned to establish and retain meaningful links on other visual material.
With children who often forget words, play separately, varying the various assignments and encouraging their fulfillment.
When playing with the whole group, all children take turns to become assistants. Having two tables with game material, you can simultaneously give instructions to two children at once. All participants of the game evaluate together with the tutor the correctness of the mother's orders.
