Pattern for babies of the first months of life

We continue the theme of winter clothing. Below is a pattern of children's overalls for the newborn.

We select the fabric

Matter is better to choose a strong, waterproof and breathable at the same time. Such fabrics are made on the basis of polyamide.

Getting started

Transfer the pattern to the fabric, taking into account the allowances for seams.

• on the sides and shoulders - 2 cm;
• on the neck, armholes and double elements - 7 mm each;
• at the front - 3 cm;

Priority of actions

Sewing and embroidery technique

• Make a drawing on paper with regard to size. Cut out the details and transfer to the fabric, immediately outlining the allowances.
• Cut out the details of the sleeves, back and transfer from the fabric.
• First, sew up the sleeves, trim the bottom.
• Connect the backrest and in front of the sides and the inside edge of the pants. Or as an option, make a zipper on the inside of the pants for the convenience of changing the diaper.
• Connect the sleeves to the main body.
• Sew a zipper, Velcro or button.
• Process neck seams, hose connection lines.
