    Bead collar with their own hands: master class with video lesson

    Our grandmothers also wore wonderful lace collars, which immediately gave a festive and elegant look to anyone, even the most simple dress. Today, the collars are back in fashion. The most trendy ones are those made of beads or beads. We offer you a master class: a collar of their beads with their own hands.

    With the help of beads you can weave hundreds of variants of different collars:

    We will try to weave an openwork collar, as in the photo, which is ideal for both office and party.

    Weaving of openwork collar from beads

    Materials:

    • Beads transparent №10( approximately 60 grams);
    • Artificial pearl( 4mm);
    • Nylon thread No. 50;
    • Needle;
    • Fittings for jewelry( locks).

    So, we make a collar of beads: the scheme of weaving it is the following:

    For our master class, we have slightly changed the scheme - we will type 5 beads in a rhombus, and not three. But in the event that you have seed beads number 6 or number 8, then we need to weave exactly according to the scheme.

    The first thing to do is to install a bead-stopper. To do this, do a few turns of thread around this bead. After the end of work, this bead will be removed, so you do not need to tangle the thread around it.

    Thread 36 beads + 2 on the side thread( not 1, as in the diagram).We count 10 beads from below and pass the needle into 11 beads from the bottom up. After that, string another 5 beads onto the thread, and through four beads we pass the needle in the 5th from the bottom up. Thus, you need to string the beads until the needle is passed through the first bead.

    String another 5 beads and pass the needle through the third bead of the previous row from top to bottom. And so the whole series is weaved to the very end. After the end of the series, you need to string 14 beads and pass the needle from the bottom up into 3 beads of 14 dialed. And so we weave to the end, threading each time 5 beads.

    Plait the next series. In the end. String 8 beads, 1 bead and another bead, then pass the needle into the bead, skipping the bead. Then again string 6 beads, pass the needle into the third bead.

    And we go through the same way the whole row.

    From the new series you need to remove one loop at the end - just do not add it.

    Next, you need to dial 8 beads and pass the needle in the middle, climb up the row, not reaching the end of the loop, and gain 7 beads.

    Next, weave 2 arches, each of 4 beads. Up to the top of the row you need to weave three arches, go down to 3 beads and thread 23 beads on the string. After that, 10 beads are counted and the needle is threaded into the 11th.

    It is necessary to measure the width of the resulting detail of the collar. And then to measure the circumference of the neck, from which it will be clear how many such details need to be weaved. For example, on the neck circumference about 40 cm, you need to weave 19 of these elements( it turns out with a margin of 5 cm)

    After the entire collar is ready, locks are attached to its tips and you can safely put it on!

    Fashionable collars of beads and beads can be made, much faster than a collar in our master class.

    This collar is very simple.

    1. First, on the dense fabric( felt jeans), the desired collar shape is cut out.
    2. The edges( manually) are swept so that the fabric does not get messed up during socks and does not ruin the appearance of the collar.
    3. First, glue is applied to one half of the collar, and beads and beads are spread on the glue. Drawing or ornament is better to think and draw on paper beforehand, so that it is easier to translate it on the product itself.
    4. Then the adhesive is applied to the second half of the collar. The pattern is repeated in mirror image or according to the idea.
    5. The satin ribbons are sewn to the ends of the collar or the lock is fastened
