But in case there is a need to stick to the chair not a piece of napkins or postcards, but more voluminous things, then the best is a hot silicone adhesive from a special gun. Although in some cases, in the performance of the technique, the deconstruction of the IKEA stool will be performed unsurpassed if using not an ordinary PVA glue or silicone glue, but an acrylic-based glue that does not turn yellow and does not wrinkle the napkin or part of the used postcard.
4. Sandpaper. It is necessary to use pieces of sandpaper of different degrees of rigidity. With larger particles, sandpaper is used when sanding the surface of the old chair, and with smaller particles used for the effect of rubbing or aging at the request of a person.
5. Elements of decor and handy things for the implementation of applications. It is clear that the decoration of the chair will not be done accurately, unless we use scissors, brushes of different thicknesses and sponges that are used to more evenly apply the paint on the surface of the chair. 9. Work with paints. If necessary, that is, if desired, you can paint the ends and some faces with paint for a more expressive appearance. Most often in decoupage use acrylic paints.
10. Coating with varnish. At the end of the entire process of pasting, staining, there is a need to cover the surface of the stool with varnish. Lacquer should be applied in several layers for greater practicality in use. It is important to allow each layer of varnish to dry before applying the next layer.
