Today, we will focus on the manufacture of soap baskets, which we will make from a soap base - baby soap.

Soap digging process

Take several pieces of usual baby soap and rub it on the largest side of the grater in the bowl. Three on a large grater, so that the soapy chips are not clogged in the holes of the grater. In general, of course, the smaller the soapy shavings, the faster and easier our soap will be cooked.

Now we put a water bath for our crafts: 2 pans of different volume are put in each other, water is poured into the bottom pot. We put this whole structure on a stove on a slow fire and heat it up.

Now take olive, sunflower or any essential oil and pour 1-2 tablespoons of oil into the top pan of our water bath. We are waiting for the oil to warm up.

And now just pour out our grated soap( shavings) in the top pan of our water bath.

Next, pour a glass of hot water into the mixture and mix everything thoroughly until a thick, uniform mass forms( approximately the consistency of the sour cream).

Instead of water, you can use various infusions on herbs or even milk. Only the poured liquid must be hot.

The next step is adding to the mix all sorts of herbs: sage, chamomile, eucalyptus, mint, etc.

Now mix well the soap "dough".

Take your molds for soap and oil them with any oil, you can even sunflower.

And now fill the molds with a mixture.

Now we wait for several hours, while our soap "rests" in the refrigerator. Then we take it out, take it out of the molds and check the result.
