But how to make a gift topiary for the New Year? In this article, we will make a New Year's topiariy with our own hands on the master class.

Prepare the following materials:
- mandarins.
- a coil of linen rope( can be bought in any garden-flower shop).
- flower pot, from which our tree will actually grow( you can also use any container, zadekorirovav it to your taste).
- a beautiful branch or snag, strong enough to withstand the weight of mandarins. Treated, lacquered twigs can be found in a floristic store. Scissors and a knife on paper.
- piece of polystyrene or floral oasis.
- spruce sprues and mistletoe leaves for decoration.
- pieces of wire to strengthen the mandarin tree on a tree( a set of small hairpins is suitable).
- artificial snow( it can be crushed foam and any other material, the main thing is that it looks like snow).
- brush for PVA glue.
Proceed as follows:
1. Take the mandarins and wrap the rope in a criss-cross pattern. Be careful, wrap tight, so that your mandarins do not fall out of the ropes. But do not overdo it, otherwise you risk splashing the entire workspace with juice and spoiling the product.
2. Sprinkle the sprig with PVA glue and dipped in "snow", this is done so that the needles do not stick together.
3. From the foam or oasis, cut out the cone, which will be placed in the pot. To weight the structure on the bottom of the pot, you can put a stone or a piece of lead.
4. Note that the pot must match the size of the entire composition, that is, be proportional.
5. We proceed to the most difficult and responsible part. We strengthen the branch in the oasis so that it does not hang. We begin to tie the mandarins one to the other, starting from the bottom. Below there will be less mandarin, in the middle a little more, at the top - as much as below. Then we decorate all this charm with leaves and twigs.
The New Year's Topiary is ready. It will perfectly decorate your table or become a wonderful gift for loved ones.
